Strange Freemason artifacts I found... Help me identify

um it's a compass and square and all seeing eye...there strangeness solved.

Probably just a Christmas gift from one brother to another. Just Masonic Symbolism...nothing out of the ordinary.

I'm doing research for another glp poster on an ancient article, and your thread was presented at the bottom of the page, so I checked it out. What the heck, right. WOW, it could very well be that in ancient times this other article has a most direct bearing on the symbols and history presented in your pics. I recognized them right away, and so I give you this link to research because so far, it is the most together presentation of ancient information that I have found. Although, there is more. The Plaque could have been one taken from a defunct lodge.

The certificate was probably something which the EA got at the time of his raising.

Just an award from the Grand Master of the Supreme Order of the Universe. Nothing special then!

I know absolutely nothing much about the Masonic beliefs nor symbols. However, the symbols in the pics are showing up all over the world in various cultures. I find it strange that being a secret society, they have symbols matching other ancient cultures. I think perhaps it is remembered symbols from an era before these peoples spread worldwide.
