n 1998, the Pentagon began an anthrax immunisation programme in the military, but it was halted over concerns on the vaccine's safety.
Quoting: Daily Mail...And this was for people with MATURE immune systems, too! They were concerned about the safety of the vaccine in adults, but now they want to experiment with kids??? Halted? Well we didnt get the memo, because that vaccine is still mandatory for those deploying to the Middle East and Afghanistan. And just so you know...it isnt A vaccine...it is a series of vaccines given over a given time period. And if you dont complete the series in a given time period, you have to repeat them all over. Trust me...been there done that. Sorry, I didn't quote the rest. This quote was meant for the military WIDE vaccination program, when it was mandatory for ALL personnel, not just some. They mention that it's continued for those who end up going to the Middle East and S. Korea. I know about the series. I've had to watch my husband go through that AND that damn smallpox vax. Thankfully, he was able to get through it all with no ill side effects. Yet.
