Rick Perry raises ‘birther’ issue, casting doubt about Obama’s birthplace

Texas Gov. Rick Perry was supposed to be answering questions about his presidential bid. Instead, he raised more. Perry tried to reboot his struggling campaign this week by announcing a broad economic policy agenda, recruiting longtime strategists with national credentials and reintroducing himself as the “bold” choice for the Republican nomination.

That's nice and all, but he could have raised these concerns a couple of years ago. AND, I doubt it will be enough to overcome his "tardness" on in-state tuition for wt bks and forcing young girls to get the shot.

He's fallen so far, so fast, for a reason.

That is true, but he has to be a shock to the MSM that some one like his self would bring this up.

Well, he's got to do SOMETHING, or it's over for him.

It would have been easier to just preach conservatism from the start. That's all we want and it's the ONE THING we can't seem to get out of ANY candidate.

I will vote for WHOMEVER is nominated by the republican party - I don't give a shit who it is, but none of the current contenders excite me. I'd vote for Fred Flintstone over 0bama. At least Fred knows what it's like to have a job and earn a living. However, what we need is another Reagan and I don't see anyone big enough to fill those shoes. It sucks, too, because we're in heap big trouble and we need a real leader... A REAL ONE.
