Note the FIRST reference at the end of the article links you to a Powerpoint presentation done by Dr. Miller which explains in detail. It is very easy to follow...however since granny has advanced cancer I would push the daily limit way past what he recommends. Using Luigol's solution (5%) I would probably ramp up quickly from the recommended dosage. Let me know and I will make a suggestion if you like. Personally, I have taken 50X the recommended amount with no ill effects.

Also, I exchanged e-mails with Dr Miller, he is very accessable and helpful. He is a cardiologist at the University of Washington and one of the few good guys. You can also check out drmiller.com for other interesting stuff.

as far as fructose, check out this done by a doctor at UCSB...very well done...particularly for a doctor. He didn't get it completely correct, but 85% and a great starting point/ The point being, cut out all sugars and as many carbs as you can..Think of the fact that for cancer cells, glucose/fructose and other sugars are GO juice. Cut off the sugar and the cells die.

Dr otto warburg received a nobel prize in the 1930's for discovering that cancer cells are anerobic...oxygen kills them. get granny out for a healthy walk EVERY DAY, as much as she can. Plus the Vitamin D is a benefit.

Get her on a high fat diet, low to no carbs and restricted proteins. one of my all time favorite posters is SCORPION right here on GLP. He is a fuckin' genius and knows a LOT. Search METABOLIC on glp search engine and you will see his thread. basically, take granny's weithg in Kg's (or weight she should be if she is a fatty) and that is her daily protein intake. Multiply by 3 for fat intake and 1/3 for carb intake.

There you have it. Granny will be bullet proof and outlive her peers. If you are smart, and want to bypass where granny is now, YOU will do the same thing.

stillhere is right, but Iodoral is very expensive Luigol's Iodine. Each tablet is about equivalent to one drop of 5%...but the liquid is about 80% cheaper. I bought a GALLON of pure iodine and the fixing solution and it works out to a few cents a day, instead of .30/.40 per tablet. DOn't get me wrong, the IOdoral people DESERVE the profit for spreading the word, but for those who have trouble with pills or on a tight budget, go with the liquid. You can also paint it directly on the skin and it will absorb, avoiding stomach upset. You can also gauge iodine levels by timing the absorption rate
