All I get from this article is that she (and her live-in) have been arrested. IMO, they're innocent until proven guilty--but if this is a set up, you know she'll be guilty.

I agree with you Doomweaver, I think the discussion of the H1N1 vaccine in the cited article was biased. I work in a hospital medical lab and remember that flu season quite well. In my area of the country the flu, that typed positive for Group A (H1N1 fell into this group and at the beginning of the EPIDEMIC many of these were typed as H1N1), was most prevelent among children and pregnant women. H1N1 hit during the wrong time of the year, from April to October. By regular flu season the epidemic had about panned out. In my unsuppported opinion I wonder if this had anything to do with the strain being less severe than anticipated? Yes, the flu hit this group of people most severely. We had several pregnant women with this stand of flu and several children that had to be hospitalized. I heard of one severe case where it was not known if the teenager would survive.

Yes, I think the vaccine went to market without the necessary reasearch. Yes, I think that Big Pharma profited from both the vaccine and the "cure", Tamaflu (which, if I recall correctly, Donald Rumsfield bought a large amount of stock in the company that makes Tamaflu.) I remember that only limited quantities of the vaccine was available during the epidemic and that many people lined up to get it of their own choice. The vaccine was not readily available until after the epidemic was over. I think public demand also played a part in the vaccine being released too early.
