The rest are on a level with soap operas or Nazi propaganda (Wagner). Ever read the plot of those things? And the singing style is overblown, and to my ears, ugly. Opera turned off generations of kids to singing. It's a left-over from an ugly, non-spiritual era and will die out presently. |
