IF you think drilling can not cause earthquakes think again. Even though fracking is also involved. It still proves that it does not take much stir things up. I live in Arkansas and the area a little north of where is live is where the drilling and fracking was taking place. The area went from having 0 quakes to more than 800 in just a 2-4 month period with the largest being a 4.7. Since then they made them stop for the most part and the quakes have pretty much stopped.

The quakes around Guy, AR where result of 2 injection wells that are no longer operated by a large gas producer. I think they sold them off to someone else. An easy way to rid themselves of the headache they were.
