It is time to re examin the system. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1273752 +1 Not true- Free market capitalism made the USA into the most prosperous country in just a couple hundred years. The problem is the govt and corps are in bed together- this is NOT free market capitalism- it's facism. And yes facism/crony capitalism does concentrate the money into the hands of the few. We need to stop these unholy alliances of private/public monetary incest- start with the Fed! Free market capitalism and sound money gives more people the chance to become wealthy. It is the best system out there and you are trying to demonize it- No other system is anywhere close to as fair. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1273752 maintenance of control over the money supply via things like mk ultra, assassinations, false charges, etc., is not free market capitalism guess you can call it capitalist in a way but less than 1% of the population agrees with that form |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1273752 No, what happens is eventually banking, finance, government, media, and business elite grow powerful enough to change the capitalist system into another system altogether. They make laws that benefit them and destroy competition. In effect they use the power of money, influence and corruption to collude with government to destroy capitalism. |

Perversion of capitalism is what you speak of, not honest FREE MARKET Capitalism. Again, the same thing happens in Communist countries. They have their self-proclaimed elite, too. Corruption is the issue, not capitalism. |

I think Ron Paul is only choice if we want something different. The other clowns aren't even worth a trip to the voting booth.
