Anyone in NW Ohio/Southern MI see a bright green object burn up in the sky just now?
Was walking back to my car from the liquor store and across the street in the sky I saw a bright green object that looked as if it was burning up in the atmosphere. It was moving slower than a shooting star and was much larger. It lasted for about 5-10 seconds and then dissipated as if it burned up. Anyone else see this?

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

I'd like to go quietly in my sleep, like grandpa did. Not screaming in terror like the people in the back seat of the car he was driving.

I'm east of Dayton OH and around 8:30 saw a white ball 'meteor' with a long tail.. slow moving and much larger from other meteors I've seen.

It was due N/NE of us. Guessing it was a satellite??

Could possibly be the same thing I saw. I witnessed what I saw around 8:30-8:35 and it was a whitish-green color. Not a huge tail, but there was definitely one and it was also slow moving and much larger than anything else I've seen before.

Did you also see it burn up/dissipate?

We have entered the tail area of object Elenin and we will see these fireballs and meteors for the next few days as we pass through the area where Elenin traveled.

I saw a light that looked to be heading straight down in the sky. It looked way larger than the normal shooting star. It wasn't green, but it did dissipate. It was really neat looking.

I am north of Dayton, happened about 8:30 PM.

Followed it below the tree-line, couldn't see anything from that point.

Forgot we blew up Elenin. Now that you mention it, there is a whiff of Hydrogen Cyanide in the air. Just a whiff.cool2

I am in Northern Michigan (the upper penninsula) and I saw something in the southeast sky at around 8:35. It was as bright as Venus in the sky now but it moved like a shooting star and just burnt out. It was huge though!

I saw an object in the sky that started white and ended green and it last about 5-8 seconds. It was in the n ne sky. I live north of dayton ohio and I was bringing my gf home from work. The time I saw it is different than what everyone else says though. I saw something around 635 am
