YES No? Well then stop tell us that Nasa told us it wont hit us. you do realize there are many capable people, who can figure out the path, outside the government? someone would have spread the news. stop being a brainless doomtard. what if some of those capable people did try to spread the news and he was ridiculed and called a "doom-tard" ? |

Well Tbar and Astromut are 2 people that are most definitely not doomtards and they say it isnt going to hit. There is a dumbass hiding on your keyboard. They are between "Y" and "I" |

Could the relative difference between the most accurate numbers of amateurs and the fudged numbers be enough to hide the truth??? I'm not an expert, and I'm not even an amateur astronomer, but I do know this....GOVERNMENTS LIE! They lie about little things and they lie about big things. Their agents lie, having signed agreements to protect the lies. And most people are easily bought out, especially if promised safe haven and big $$$. Just wondering...amateurs...help me out here...how accurate are your observations??? Can you come up with your own numbers just from looking or are you relying on "official government data???" |

When YU55 whizzes past and does nothing, will you then apologise? BTW, I no longer work 'in the field' - i haven't needed to work for nearly 5yrs now. Last Edited by Karlos on 11/05/2011 08:29 PM |

Quoting: ChuulTa 4673205 YES No? Well then stop tell us that Nasa told us it wont hit us. I don't need NASA to tell me - my degree was Physics with Astrophysics (MPhys) - I can work it out myself from the orbital data. I believe you,,,but how to we know that the orbital data is correct My occupation: Doomoligist Some can think outside the box but few can think without the box. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1933228 Yes, there are plenty of amateurs who can check accurately whether an object is EXACTLY where it should be, or not - according to the data. Not many could 'come up with their own numbers' - but a LOT can check whther or not the official numbers are correct. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3991586 A computer simulation of an asteroid impact tsunami developed by scientists at the University of California, Santa Cruz, shows waves as high as 400 feet sweeping onto the Atlantic Coast of the United States. [link to news.ucsc.edu] (intelhub link with 1-3' high wave: [link to theintelhub.com] PLEASE PIN TO SAVE LIVES!!! YU55 = 400m, velocity = 13,7 m/s 1950 DA (from the simulation) = 1000m, velocity = 17 m/s E = M*C^2 YU55 hypothetical impact energy = 0,13 MT TNT - tsunami 1-3ft (But YU55 will not hit Earth or Moon.) 1950 DA hypothetical impact energy = 3,17 MT TNT - tsunami 400ft 1. The purpose of this never-ending, lame fear-mongering is clear: distraction from the real issues. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4689186 It's only the creduloids that are distracted.
