This all took place last time yu55 passed.

* Congress (both houses) is taking the entire week off.
* NASA had a map earlier with a big red X at the end of the Aleutian Islands.
* There's a UNESCO multi-country Pacific-wide tsunami disaster alert exercise going on Nov 9/10.
* FEMA is taking over the airwaves in a test of the emergency broadcasting system around 3PM on Nov 9.
* FEMA in January ordered millions of emergency meals and I've personally seen the FEMA trucks delivering some of the supplies to Memphis.

It's not a comet, it's an asteroid that's reported as being 400 meters across. From the photos it looks amazingly spherical for an object this small. Most asteroids that we're familiar with are oblong--only when a planetary-like object is larger does its gravity force it to be this spherical.

The object is moving very fast so it seems unlikely that the Earth-Moon's combined gravity could trap it into a spiral-death orbit. Given the physics involved if it misses the Earth then it would be a hyperbolic path if it's at all affected by Earth's gravity.

I would hazard a guess that NASA has calculated the path to strike the Earth (using one engineer's model) and that other/competing engineers have other mathematical models that would suggest that it will miss. NASA then would be reporting the optimistic version to us, the public, all the while reporting the competing theories to our governments along with the worst-case-scenario version.

So, our government for months has been quietly planning and panicking, all the while lying to us about the possibility that the asteroid could strike the Aleutian Islands.

In theory then, it would cause big waves to hit both east/west directions from the landing zone. Additionally--given the mass of the object--it would pummel the ocean floor after splashing down and cause some serious local damage to the Earth's crust there. Given the plastic nature below the crust I'd then suggest that the shock waves would travel obliquely through the Earth and cause damage around the globe in the form of earthquakes and volcano eruptions.

Remember when the Iceland volcano erupted recently and all flights were grounded for a while? Well, imagine what the skies will be like when, say, ten volcanoes all erupt at once. The sky will be dark for days, at least in theory.

Needless to say, if the asteroid hits the planet in the ocean up there things won't be pretty for a while. It will be much worse if it strikes dry land without the ocean spreading out the impact.

Again I ask.....if this thing was going to hit us, don't you think that the amateur astronomers around the world would be screaming their heads off on all media outlets, making the info known?

I'm still 50/50 on it since no one from professional to non professional no one seems to 150% agree yes or no...they say it won't hit us but the look of concern makes me question even statements from the mainstream media saying "It wouldn't hurt to get your affairs in order."

...to be fair and remain objective, there's a key element to this entire concern or theory regarding the correlation between YU55 and the emergency drills, which doesn't make sense.... If in fact YU55 was going to impact, the drills would be on 11/8, NOT 11/9 no?? so that has to be considered... however, it doesn't mean it couldn't be for another event around the same time.

Lets take a look at ELEnin, no astronomer could locate it on their telescopes around the world, well except some lucky Russian dude who supposedly found it from a telescope from his garage.

This guy has no history and after a so called interview seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet.

When this comet/planetoid or whatever got close enough where people should be able to see it, it got obliterated and melted away by our sun (how convenient).

Closest approach to earth, nothing. We are crossing the so called tail of this said comet and yet again nothing.

Now with the current event, YU-55, NASA seems confused on the size, speed, and projector y, at the same time . . . we have all these things happening on the same date.

Nasa's telescopes locating this asteroid is offline, Emergency Broadcasting Test happening at 2pm est on Wednesday, and pulling out our troops from abroad. (later one is another story).

Something is going to happen but no one knows what. They want the world's attention and have it for that day and time. They could very well say it's a comet and nuke the ocean for all we know and create a massive tsunami and tidal wave and just say we were warned. (false flag btw) and this would set into place a new era and martial law.
