NASA has calculated that there is a 1 in 250,000 chance
of Apophis to hit earth in 2036.

No Doom here either.

YU55 will fly by the earth at 0.8 LD just as
NASA and JPL have calculated.

They they can move on to No Doom on 11/09 from Elenin

and No Doom on 11/11/11.

Doom is difficult to find these days.

Like Eimaj said... As of late, NASA can't even calculate when satellites we used to control would come into our atmosphere and crash into the earth. Now what's to say that they know the right calculations for the trajectory of an object that we never had any control over? mehhh I can't trust you on this one NASA... I'm sorry :(

NASA calculates that YU55 will be 201,700 miles from
earth at its closest.

Its closest approache will be 18:28 EST today.

For your information Space is a vacuum.

Once an orbit is extablished it does not change unless
an external force is encountered.

YU55 will have a close encounter with Venus and Mars
in the future.

Those encounters may change the orbit.

The close encounter with earth can also affect the
orbit of YU55.

However, I presume NASA has factored that into their
100 years projection.

I worked for Lockheed Missiles and Space Corporation in
Sunnyvale, California and know for a fact the NASA
engineers are very, very good.

Predicting where Satellites will fall is much more
difficult due to different air densities and size and
weight of the satellite. They may or may not be
somewhat aerodynamic.

Also I wish to apologize for my suggestion that you
are anything less than very intelligent.

You are comparing apples with something that isn't even a fruit, nor spherical.
