Why do you think Congress voted on Friday to ajourn until Thursday? I bet they are heading to their underground bunkers. 2:12:00 P.M. Mr. Farenthold asked unanimous consent That when the House adjourns on Monday, November 7, 2011, it adjourn to meet at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2011. Agreed to without objection. [ link to clerk.house.gov] Actually says this "The Speaker announced that the House do now adjourn pursuant to a previous special order. The next meeting is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on November 10, 2011. " What was this special order? Ya, really....This is all so sketchy..unnerving..
