Hold On To Your Hats, People… And Perhaps take those Tomato Plants back In
We are now being told to give pass along the standard answer that the EAS Test on 9 November 2011 is only a test, even though it will not be broadcast as a test.
They are telling us to tell everyone we know, “Do not panic”
We are told there is grave concern (on behalf of both the police, and military) over how the public will react. Why would we have concern?? I didn’t until they started making a big deal our of all this.
The nature of this is all quite odd to say the least. In my 22 plus years in the Army I have never been told to tell anybody, anything like this. And we have been through plenty of natural disasters, as well as man-made ones.
My gut tells me there is something wrong.
Oh and our unit, all last week has been receiving 5 ton trucks, flatbed trailers, and 60K generators. What really makes this odd is (at my age and rank) we are an admin unit, non tactical unit, admin only (this means non-deployable). These pieces of equipment are for tactical units generally.
Maybe its all nothing, but just in case (and I am sure I don’t have to tell anybody here) Have some extra cash on hand. Have some foods you can cook without electricity, perhaps charcoal, or propane for the BBQ. Top up your cars.
This is my guess:
Elinin was not a real comet.
It is code, a warning to what is going to happen, more than likely with respect to 2005 YU55.
I know GLP has been down this road before, but I think this all needs to be taken seriously.

Thanks O P ....This really makes me think. I've been reading a lot of other doom post but yours rings true. Too bad I will be flying on Wed. morning, can't get out of it or I would stay put. Will be taking lots of cash with me though. What worries me is leaving my 19 yr. old alone....but she has lots of supplies in case TSHTF...will be in driving distance as long as no tsuname on west coast. Good luck to everyone and God Bless.clappa

As recently as last week I have seen common carrier transports on I-5 north of sacramento with mil. generators on board.

Thanks for the info.

Take care of yourself and thanks for heads up. I've seen dozens of these AC units and generators being shipped on I40 all this year. Never seen anything like them before and I'm on the interstate for 2+ hours a day.

Something as big as YU55 passing between us and the moon cannot be a good thing.

Re: Hold On To Your Hats, People… And Perhaps take those Tomato Plants back In
"Story" or not, Thank you for this post. Personally I've been experiencing a feeling of "urgency" for the past few months, sort of like an "itch" between my shoulder blades, that something is coming, it's right around the corner, and it won't be pleasant. That feeling has been growing over the last few weeks, based upon what has been (and just as importantly, what has NOT been) in the news.

For one thing, there hasn't been much mention of individual Elites/jet setters. Those people are attention hounds, and it seems like we are constantly bombarded with stories about where they are going, what they are wearing, which events that they are attending, etc. The last info I heard was that the Rockefellers went to the Himalayas. Then nothing. That doesn't fit in to their normal publicity routine. Could they have been slipping away to their bunkers/safe places?

Then of course there is our "transparent" DC government, which has been even more secretive than we've come to expect. Of course Obama is off again on one of his numerous world tours; perhaps his absences have been designed to "normalize" us against concerns about his being gone from the White House so often. And it seems to me that Congress has been spending even LESS time than ever (if that's possible) in DC doing their jobs.

Add to this multiple unpublicized troop movements (thank you, GLP observers/reporters), and now the government's advertising blitz concerning how the upcoming EAS shutdown is "only a test", and that "itch between my shoulder blades" just keeps increasing.

Just a question to anyone on this thread, but is anyone else having their cable/phone services temporarily interrupted anytime from Nov. 8th to Nov. 11th?? I ask this because our service is being worked on in the early morning hours on the Nov. 10th & Nov. 11th. And their having us reboot everything after that.

I know updates happen often, but that it's happening on those dates now has me wondering as it corresponds with this EAS exercise.

Geez, all this stuff is starting to make me paranoid! 1rof1

I'm a new poster but long time lurker. This warning from the OP combined with so many other things in the news recently (like the army guy who was arrested for warning his mother) and the EAS system "test", warning of monetary collapse, Israel and Iran nearing war, etc etc have me spooked..and I DON'T spook easily. I wonder if I should head to my credit union and pull out some money and get ready to hunker down.

How many here REALLY have a feeling that something bad is gonna happen this week?? I know on a site like this that the doom brigade is always present...and I take that with a grain of salt. I wanna know among the sane minds here who really feels in the GUT that something is coming?

Well I just don't freaking trust the government about ANYTHING. Bunch of sociopathic liars the whole lot. How the feck do you have a tsunami drill?? How do you fake a tsunami? I too think this may be the way they put all the resources in place without alerting the public to what is coming...and thus cause a panic. I know for a fact that the government isn't concerned in the least with how many civilians die in a disaster. All they are concerned with is maintaining "national security" and the continuance of government....and how to deal with whoever is left alive afterwards. Containment and what not.

Crap. I hate this. I'm heading to the credit union in a bit and top off the gas tank. Better to be safe than sorry.

We need more military types on GLP. Let's be honest, if tptb know tshtf, they will prepare, and start by preparing their soldiers. Although they may not know what is happening, owing to secrecy, bods in the military will notice things out of the ordinary...alterations to usual patterns, leave cancelled, equipment suddenly arriving...

The army might not tell you there may be a danger of chemical warfare, but when 500 gasmasks turn up, boy, the writing's on the wall and the shit's hitting the fan!
 Quoting: superflyscot

That's why I think it's going to be funny when a few, poor soldiers are dragged to all of these "bunkers", watch the elite file in and then be told to seal the thing shut.

Right. Like they're going to do it.

I'm sure they'll be watched and have some form of communication so if it were me I'd put some kind of pasty-flour mix in the container, tell them, "Mission accomplished, sir" and then walk away, whistling a happy tune, having gotten the last laugh.

Re: Hold On To Your Hats, People… And Perhaps take those Tomato Plants back In
Like I tried to say, I do not have any special knowledge of anything that will happen. Only concern, I have seen last week and this. I have never seen anything like this concern. My gut tells me somethings wrong, even though I can't place my finger on it. So no specific knowledge. Over the years, amd especially in combat, tho I have learned to trust those gut feelings.

I actually got into some hot water back in 2004 when I started voicing my opinion about a few matters which I will not discuss, and I was "benched" so to speak. I went from a combat unit to a desk job. Don't get me wrong I have done my best no matter what I was asked to do, but the Army has become different from when I first enlisted, so I have put in my retitrment papers. Time to hang up my combat boots.

As far as what do I think will happen? My best guess is perhaps they think this asteroid will impact the earth, but again thats just a guess.

Could be a terrorist attack, maybe the start of war with Iran, could be anything. Whatever it may be my gut tells me it will be big.

I hope I am totally wrong, and Wednesday turns out to be just another day, one perfect for fishing.
 Quoting: Professional Soldier

Sir,

Right there with you...I dont even recognize the Army anymore, and also plan on hanging up the boots (for many reasons). As a dude hanging in Afghanistan, its situation normal here. Everything is still happening as what I would consider normal. We have had several earthquakes here recently, but nothing out of the ordinary. If theres impending doom, they arent telegraphing it to us. Like you, I am pretty high up, and not a common grunt with little situational awareness. The troops leaving are part of the original plan...so I cant say that is any indication either.

Find out in two days...
