"Shadowy" group Anonymous allegedly threatens to disrupt January 3rd Iowa caucuses
Less than 50% snippet from the article:

Gov. Terry Branstad said Monday that state and federal officials are determined to see that any “shadowy” group that attempts to disrupt, threaten or intimidate Iowans during the Jan. 3 first-in-the-nation caucuses will not be successful.

“This has never happened before. We’ve never had this kind of a threat made to our open process of giving people an opportunity to participate, and we want to do all we can to protect people’s right to participate in this system,” Branstad said.

Hmmm. I myself had not heard of such an alleged threat until now.

Not quite sure what to make of it, really. Raises many questions as to what exactly the goal of such an action would be. I sure as hell hope that it has nothing to do with keeping the current jackass as president.

Also equally curious that I have not seen such paraded by the MSM yet. I suppose that'll change in 5...4...3....

I don't want this to get lost in the shuffle that is the building tension in the Middle East.

I figured this was deserving of some scrutiny and discussion by my peers.

If ya have some insight to offer then please, by all means do so.

ETA: There is an agenda behind this. The question: What is it?

Do you think their intentions are to shut down or otherwise hinder the election process? If so, what do you think their intended outcome is?

Anonymous is a non-plus these days. They might as well run for politics; a lot of hype with little to show for it.

Thank you both for the replies.

You know...for them being a group that want to foment change and all of that, you would think that they would stay out of things in Iowa. If Ron Paul or somebody else that would be considered an "outsider" is going to do well, Iowa would be one of the places that they'd be more likely to be successful.

One of the most troubling aspects of this "call to action" is the fact that they want folks to occupy the campaign headquarters of presidential candidates in Iowa starting December 27th. And the folks that are currently occupying things are more or less loyal to the current administration.
Surely somebody else has to find that a bit curious?
