I am impressed, thanks so much GLPers! Never had a thread make page 1. Now, I feel like reading articles all day and night about YU55 was good for something. I am tired now at 4am my time but.... I was wondering too if anyone would like to follow up the idea that since our magnetosphere North and South poles radiate from our very own core? Possibly we should see some very huge Eq's today or at least huge high tides? Right? Well, I'm tired and going to bed. Hope the world's here when I wake up. Love ya'll! |

VAEROSPACE User ID: 4474818 South Africa 11/08/2011 05:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was listening to that video on another thread about Kabuki mentioning if YU55 got also enough to drag on our atmosphere it's next orbit may be more doomy. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 798561 That video was a bit extreme but it made me think of our own planets magnetosphere, and even though this link is a NASA link I think everyone interested in YU55 today will really sit up and pay attention that when the moon is full, like today it passes right through the tail of our magnetosphere and takes about 6 days to get out of it but this time it will have a friend there YU55! If you read the NASA link pay attention to how much we effect the moon when it is crossing in the tail end of our magnetosphere and then realize. YU55 is also going to be inside our magnetospheres tail! How come the same day the doom is due I finally seem to be the only person that realized this fact and I am not a 100 percent professional doomtard either! I am scaring myself a bit with this revelation that everyone seems to have not realized yet. Uber doom perhaps? You judge...Here's the link: [link to www.nasa.gov] |

Although it will be a miracle if it doesn't collide, but I still believe we could see an earthquake or something else. Instead of asteroid doom, maybe we could experience a Political or Economical crisis instead? Whos knows until the date arrives... ^PropHeTic^ |

Holy crap, what horrible timing for an asteroid to fly in between the earth and moon! Quoting: SR37 its irrelvant if it was a full moon or not even if it was a 'half moon' doesn't mean only half of the moon is [hysically there. its always full just we can't see all of it. lmao... |

Don Q User ID: 1429699 Canada 11/08/2011 01:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Anyone remember Apollo 13 and how they rescued the mission by using the moons gravity to sling shot themselves back to earth? Could YU55 do the same thing? Also... If the moon has a negative charge on a full moon and YU55 has a positive charge could they attract eachother? |

Quoting: Don Q 1429699 Could YU55 do the same thing? Also... If the moon has a negative charge on a full moon and YU55 has a positive charge could they attract eachother? I remember Apollo. The meteor's journey in it's large orbit (space drag) tends to make them more negativly charged. If the moon is negative I believe two negatives will repel. |
