Wow,I'm hearing like a boom sound now too-this is getting really weird!
The droning has pretty well disapated now (VERY faint) but this booming noise has taken it's place??
And NO,it's definately NOT thunder-WTF!

Gotta head off to my son's school for a while (someone's been a naughty lad-lol).
Will let you know what's going on when I get back.
I hope all of this isn't what I think it is but the timing is VERY suss!

Hi there in Melbourne Im so glad for this thread. We are in the Blue Mountains up from sydney and we get that droning noise sometimes its just there and doesnt go away. We also have been getting alot and I mean alot of military planes constantly flying over our area. WTF theres nothing here. Its crazy and also practically 24 hours the day the planes. We have no flight path here.

blue mountains are sacred land.. those that know know.. and the military activity is there cause its a hot spot.. anyway i didnt hear the sound in melbourne but its turning out to be a beautiful sunny afternoon.. sorry doom is off ;)
