The most effective form of deception is when 99% of truth is mixed with 1% error. However, the 1% is often the difference between life and death.

True, most of what he says is correct. But this is only when it comes to non-consequential and non-vital information which no one has a problem with the public knowing. Think of Astromut as NASA. How much does NASA tell you? Just enough to keep you in the dark.
Quoting: A Voice In The Wilderness

Thank you! I've been trying to get that point across re: Glenn Beck and it seems like they just don't get it. Of course he's right about almost everything. But when it came to those FEMA camps, and his oh-so-serious effort to prove them to exist, or not, he denied they existed.

An example of that 1% that 'they' do not want to be confirmed.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 317023

Precisely. I agree about Beck. In fact, anyone who is allowed to REMAIN on cable TV, while 'exposing' what is taking place in the world or behind the scenes, is 100% controlled by the very powers they profess to expose.
The Truth About Thread: The FINAL EVENTS Of Bible Prophecy

"We here are of the conviction that the papacy is the seat of the true and real Antichrist." - Martin Luther (Aug. 18, 1520)

"While God has given ample evidence for faith, He will never remove all excuse for unbelief. All who look for hooks to hang their doubts upon will find them. And those who refuse to accept and obey God's Word until every objection has been removed, and there is no longer an opportunity for doubt, will never come to the light" (The Great Controversy, p. 527).

"Jesus did not come to change the law, but he came to explain it, and that very fact shows that it remains, for there is no need to explain that which is abrogated." - Charles Spurgeon

"Jesuit Adam Weishaupt established the modern version of the Illuminati specifically to be a front organization behind which the Jesuits could hide. After being formally abolished by Pope Clement XIV in 1773, the Jesuits used the Illuminati and other organizations to carry out their operations. Thus, the front organizations would be blamed for the trouble caused by the Jesuits."

They grabbed the real one and stashed it in orbit on the dark side of the moon. They are loading stuff onto or in it. Including a time capsule.

The OP does have a point that none of you can actually be certain that you were watching YU55.
Quoting: A Voice In The Wilderness

Wrong. It was fully possible to not only confirm that you were seeing YU55, but you could have even plotted its orbit and determined that it was getting farther away from earth using nothing but the video feed I provided you and knowing that I was in Florida (a fact I mentioned in the chat room at least once that night). I determined the orbit using just that data myself.
What you all watched last night was the streaming video from Astromut who is nothing but a disinfo agent who has swayed a lot of uneducated and common-sense-lacking people on this forum to believe every little thing he says.
 Quoting: voice

Wrong again. I'm an amateur astronomer, not a "disinfo agent." I back up what I say and what I presented was completely confirmable. It is not my problem if you are too "uneducated" to know how to confirm it yourself.

I calculated the orbit of YU55 myself using nothing but amateur data before the approach happened. My results confirmed the JPL trajectory of the approach. Using the video from my broadcast I've now been able to confirm that my prediction was right and the asteroid followed the trajectory I said it would. That's not trivial information, it completely debunks the OP, and it debunks your claim that I'm a "disinfo agent." I'll be posting the results of my orbital calculation from the video along with the data later tonight.

You are a day late, its already gone.
 Quoting: SheldonCooper

Yeah, I know that's what the MSM keeps saying. They want you to think the danger has already passed. NASA & JPL both say the closest point is on 11/9.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1518519

Kinda hard to say that when people on this site had a live stream of yu55 lastnight. So how will it double back on itself
 Quoting: G0D1337

True but what if you all were just watching a satellite????

Just sayin' peace
 Quoting: Silent Wind

Astrometrically solving several images from the video and using the data on the object's position to calculate its orbit would have told you that. I did just that last night, and I'll upload a video showing the results tonight. Just saying, that is something you can figure out. Not only does it show you the fact that it was indeed YU55, it shows that YU55 was following the trajectory JPL said it would follow.

Astromut, I got a serious question.

What were all the streaks in the foreground and if they were stars what were the white spots in the background?

Ah yeah, those were stars.
[link to lightsinthedark.files.wordpress.com]
They were tracking on the asteroid, so the stars streaked by. The other dots were hot pixels. Notice how they don't form what astronomers call a "point spread function" in the image, whereas the asteroid does; the asteroid's light isn't confined to a single pixel and is spread out a bit, even though they're focused properly.

ah, thank you. that makes sense. i kept asking about that when it was going on but no one seemed to relay to me that they were "tracking" yu55. I thought i was looking at a "fixed" feed and maybe the streaks were debris moving with yu55 or something.

thanks.

Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing... chuckle In any case, the point I was trying to make is that these things are all verifiable, in fact the solution is quite elegant, I would even say beautiful. With just a regular amateur telescope and a sensitive video camera it's entirely possible to calculate and verify the orbit of an asteroid by yourself from your own sidewalk. To me... that's amazing. By the same token, anyone can validate the orbital solution themselves using the video I streamed the other night.
