His treatment is not 100% effective, actually no drug is like that. He has a success rate of around 25 percent of aggressive malignate brain cancer, and this data is coming from the FDA, while chemo has 0.9 percent on the same cancer (Data coming from the full movie). This may not be a cure, but if there are several patients willing to testify for him and there is factual evidence supporting his treatment, I'll rather take my chances with him then chemo.

This organization systematically broke in and stole sensitive and life threatening documents, time and again, leaving peoples’ lives at risk. And this in the name of health and rights huh?

The Burzynski Cover-up" Dr. Burzynski’s cancer treatment is non-toxic and extremely effective in many malignancies. Why is the FDA harassing him and suppressing his treatment? Why are people being allowed to die unnecessarily? Does it have anything to do with the belief that there are too many people in the world?

but yes, boys and girls, in our great country effective nontoxic noninvasive cancer therapies are not funded, their inventors are fined, stripped of their medical licenses and threatened with jail.....

BIG PHARMA keeps on with it and keeps on using our tax money for their own purposes of not making cancer patients well....

imagine all the high living cancer money has backed...yachts fancy vacations...huge homes....all on the backs of the desperately sick and dying

There are currently 17 clinical trials run by Burzynski using antineoplastons which are in phase II.

According to the National Cancer Institute's clinical trials search engine, all antineoplaston trials show start dates in the 1990s. The trials started in the 1990s, specifically between 1993 and 1998. Every trial completion date is "2011-12-31".

Business as usual. Keep the new drugs down, because they CURE, big pharma's money is in TREATING not CURING...

So yeah this happens on a daily basis.

....as someone who is alive after chemo and radiation treatments for base of tongue cancer...mmmm it worked. I also have had some bad side effects, my left jaw died along with the cancer which needed corrective surgery BUT I'm alive. If you take a look at the cancer cure AND survival rates over the last 50 years and are not impressed with our constant improvements, well you are one sad person. The advancements in just the last 10 years are impressive. The sad truth is as we all live longer, we have to die of something,we can't stay. So all the women who didn't die in child birth, some estimates as high as 40% of all deaths in women under 40 until the latter half of the 1900's, now live long enough to develope breast cancer. The medical community,at least those I have had the pleasure of working with, are some of the finest people I have ever met. Most important is the honesty I saw every day. My cancer has a 50% survival rate 5 years after treatment. As my Doc said,who cares about those rates,if you are cured it's 100% and if not it's a 100% failure rate. All my doctors were very up front with what they are trying to do with what is known. The amount of radiation in each treatment,I had 33,is much less than in the past due to the ability to pinpoint the tumor and not just blast the entire area. Computers and better tooled machinery made this possible. All the doctors and nurses I spoke with were always speaking about promising new drugs,treatments etc etc. Those who lost loved ones to malpractice I have nothing but support for. However, to blame Doctors for a fatal condition and to blame all drug companies as NOT wanting a cure is beyond stupid. Good Lord, if Abbott labs discovered a cure tomorrow it would be on the market ASAP...it cures cancer NOT prevents it. Your customers would actually live to pay their bill ! I was really cured and was not shafted.

An article has read that cancer survival has tripled, the chances of surviving 5 years has soared. This gives the impression that we are winning the war on cancer. Magically the cancer industry has created good news from bad. Unfortunately they are not talking about long term survival rates, but just 5 year survival rates. In fact the cancer industry has adopted a rather peculiar definition of a cure. Normally a cure is define as “The elimination of disease". In the case of cancer, it means you are still breathing after 5 years. In fact a cancer cure does not mean the disease has been cured at all. At the end of the fifth year, you can still have cancer, and if you are still breathing you have been officially cured. Of course if you die of cancer in the 6th year you would be officially cured but dead. No other disease in the history of the world has had such an Alice in wonderland definition of a cure. You can live 5 years with aids yet no one will claim you're cured of aids. You can live 5 years with heart disease but not a single institution will say you've been cured of it. But if you lived 5 years with cancer, you're cured whether you agree or not. Why then is such an absurd definition used with cancer? Because it is the only way to create the illusion that we're making progress in the war against cancer. Early detection is the main device the cancer industry deceptively uses to raise cure rates. When they say that early diagnosis means you have a better chance of being cured, all they are saying is that you have a better chance of breathing another 5 years. Not because of treatments or because you're living longer but because the diagnosis was done earlier. Early detection makes it appear as if somehow the treatment is making people live longer when in fact they are not living longer. When studies have compared treated and untreated patients they show untreated patients actually live longer than treated patients, and obviously with a higher quality of life - JAMA 1969-1992.

Just watched this tonight on netflix....makes you wonder what the FDA and Cancer Institutes real motivations are. It seems they are too comfortable with providing costly treatments then providing cures...

Always ask for absolute benefits, out of 100 people how many will benefit? And ask in absolute terms, how many more days or months is this going to buy you?

The entire cancer industry thinks, talks and breathes rubber numbers. And most doctors believe the manipulated numbers they feed to the public. Totally ineffective treatments are being called breakthroughs and miracles! And what's the patient get? A few more months of life and horrific life threatening side effects. If the cancer industry was honest and provided there absolute numbers, instead of rubber numbers they would be out of business. I don't care what study or treatment of cancer you evaluate, if you look at absolute real world numbers, the performance of the cancer industry is appalling. Many, many people have been lied to and killed for sake of being a test rat on some new drug. Rather than admit defeat, the medical industry just continues to do the same thing it has done for over 40 or more years which have cost many people their lives. I would like you to now question who is really ill, the patients or the doctors? At the expense of their ego they murder people in a weak state.

Entering a hospital with cancer is like entering a liquor store to buy a lottery ticket, there may be a few winners, but everyone else is a loser. And at the end of the day will be the house, in this case the cancer industry.

I know someone who was given just a few months to live because of advanced cancer and read about Dr. Burzynski in the National Enquirer while waiting in her doctor's waiting room.the next day she contacted him,and soon after started treatment.that was over 20 years ago and she is still alive and well today.

Doesn't Dr. Ron Paul want to disband the FDA?
He believes that a person's health is between the patient and physician. Again, this is what happens when the government gets involved, we the people lose freedom.
FDA also wants to ban alternative medicine. Sounds like they want to control everything to do with a person's health. Free country? Only for the elite.

we all should be able to get this therapy from our own local hospitals and doctors...
who should we thank that it is not available and may never be if the FDA gets its way?

he acted to sabotage and block Burzybski's clinical trials for years when he headed the NCI ...then he moved up to the FDA where he tried to strip Burzynski of his license and send him to prison having him indicted by a grand jury at least four times....
currently he is senior acting vice president of MONSANTO...

It was amazing to me how far astray the government will go to absolutely destroy those who are doing no harm in the alternative health industry.Wait till you read how your tax dollars are spent. The author also shines a light on the process of getting alternative methods of treatment to the public. It seems that one must be fabulously wealthy and well connected with the FDA. I learned alot about the seeming vendictiveness of the government against Doctors who are truely working for the public good and must risk all to do it. The cases presented are truly profiles in courage. It shows that the system for those exploring alternative treatments is in serious need of re-thinking. One can't help but hypothecize that big pharma is behind the ruthlessness of the pursuit to get these treatments out of public access. Very good read.
