Government supporters like to suggest that the internet is a government project. They claim that the computer industry owes its existence to the Pentagon. Neither of these claims is true. The internet grew when the Pentagon took its hands off of it. Computers were developed without the Pentagon.

These inventions have military applications and defense departments have always been very interested in them, but the defense departments did not develop them.
Actually the explosive growth of the internet occurred when the net went civilian and grew out of its military background and control. The defense department control was holding it back. Private capital and ideas poured in. It is true that people at subsidized universities and NSF grants also contributed.

Everyone needs to watch this.

And then watch how the OWS is infiltrated by co-intel and provac agents

I take every bit of information into account and make my own conclusions as time passes by and gather more info before believing anything in the internet.

Well I just had a thread disappear that was asking about why when I type, all of a sudden the cursor moves and messes up the whole post. Happens constantly. For a 30 second post, I have to retype it over and over again as someone behind the scenes (mods -- is this you or someone else?) that are deliberately trying to prevent me from posting here. Maybe it's because I'm not afraid to call a few of them out (won't give their names though). Funny this post has not been hacked or messed with yet, and I did type full thing in a little over a minute.

It is not browser issue, or virus. I have excellent security on all my computers.

Interesting stuff.

this is what they are doing to the occupy movement because they are scared shitless

1. Always save a copy of what you write in a text editor.

2. If they somehow get into your computer to delete files, write down your post on a piece of paper and simply repost it at a random time from another computer.

They'll have to ban pen and paper as well if they want to stop all dissent.
