Army veteran and his wife die in tragic 'suicide pact' after becoming 'too poor to live through the winter'

Very strange story. He's a Russian X soldier living in Wales? It that right? His wife was mentally ill and the state had just taken her daughter. They just got married and appeared on a documentary a few months ago about poverty. Never once did they complain about the benefits he received.

No matter HOW you slice it, that is a sad story.

People have to feel pretty desparate to want to "check out" together.

I would like to know if their immediate neighbors were fully aware of this couple's true circumstances.

I think most neighborhoods would pull together to help one of their own.

It may had being better for them to take some politicians to hell with them ....

I had to read the story three times to fully get it. The AC ment the lady had to go to the doctor to be diagnosed with a medical condition to receive benefits. But she never did.
We don't know how bad her condition really was, they did take her child away. The child is now in state care and her mom gone. The child is the the one who will suffer the most from this.

This whole story is a series of events that are written like a tragic play. No neighbors about to help them? No family? But they never complained.

A bunch of fake 'caring' after the fact. I have been struggling with massive head pain and chronic fatigue for 8 plus years to the point just household chores wear me out. Our overpriced hypocritical 'healthmarketing' system has decided I am 'exagerrating and drug seeking' and deserve no benefits BUT gives benefits to a 20 y/o meth head. Over this time I have been exposed to drug addict residents in the local Dr school, pedophiles, perverts, stalkers as well as illegal Rx distribution by the local clinic. I have begged for physical endurance/drug testing because I cannot tolerate drug abusers yet the Dr 'opinion' cannot be allowed to be refuted. I have been seriptitiously recording medical conversations because of memory problems and at this point am simply waiting for collapse (and MASSIVE lawsuits) or a simple suicide. When your Dr says "we do not support disability/SSi, we simply do not do that" and the only 'treatment' is the same I came into the system with after 4 years then it is very tempting to induce your symptoms in these selfsame 'deniers'. They simply do not understand that they have peoples lives literally in their hands, they are far more concerned about liability. I have helped one DR lose his license, another lose his practice, forced another into administration and look forward to at least 2 'retirements' before I collapse. I just hope to survive until the 'American Spring' where our psychopathic lying leaders will be hunted down and killed in their hidey holes becaue they are under the delusion the military will 'protect' them even as they gut military pay/benefits.
