Telephone numbers stations?

What do they do?

Called them both.. fucking weird.. What do you think it means?

Are you familiar with the concept of number stations on shortwave radio? I'm thinking it could be something like that depending on how often the numbers they announce change.

Could these not be for technical things to do with running the phone system?

I've worked for several years maintaining telephone company voice response units and test equipment. I've never heard anything like this.

OP..years ago when I was younger and bored I would dial random 1800 numbers. One time I stumbled onto a number in which I could hear what seemed to be hundreds if not thousands of conversations occurring at once. Pretty wild.

1-(303)-309-0004 is located at the Colorado state capitol building.

As for the toll-free itself, the numbers it reads are far briefer than the 303 number, but there seems to be change every time. Here's what I've heard today;

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the state capitol number, the numbers are seemingly endless; maybe on purpose.

303 is the area code for Denver. 309 is one of the Denver prefixes, but I didn't see a 0004 number. The 800 # has some reports for harassing phone calls FROM them. They now have your phone #.

Around here where I live they have taken out ALL the public telephones! NO SHIT! There are o more public telephones here anywhere that i can find! now hasn't anyone else noticed this?

Yeah. They get very little business because almost everyone has a cell phone. We still have a few, but they aren't AT&T...just some off-brand.

i found a similar number which seems even more mysterious and outright CREEPY. 818-485-1010. someone MUST know SOMETHING about what in the hell this is and what it is used for?

i tried calling the 800 # with google voice to hide my caller id and it just rings. anyone else have this problem?

Weird, EricWeiss, where'd you find this? It sounds like you could be picking up a line to a shortwave radio.

By all means, though, my shortwave experience is pretty barebones. I have no idea what to think :)

when i dialed the Denver 303# there was static like a dial-up connection, strange lullaby music, then a sequence of #s that just seemedto go on:

25,70,79 0 alpha, 61, 3 delta, 22, 36, 65, 37, 38, 37, 34, 37, 36, 33, 32, 37, 33, 36, 62, 37, 62, 33, 37, 38, 33, 22 0 alpha, 74, 3delta, 22, 22, 0alpha, 71, 3delta, 30.....

I have, in lots of places. The ones left charge you out the butt for ANY call.

For anyone curious about this but not wanting to call either number, audio of both has been posted. Dates and times of recordings are in the filenames.

The 303 number runs for approximately 8 minutes and contains tones starting at 3m35s that are believed to be data of some sort. They struck me as possibly being SSTV, but nothing I have here was able to successfully decode them as either that or other common amateur radio data modes.

The 818 number runs for just under an hour, and (from the small amount of analysis that's been done on it so far) is believed to have been generated with samples taken from known numbers stations as well as EAM traffic from what is believed to be Edwards AFB. One item of note: the sequence 'UCQHOV' is repeated twice then followed by 'UCQHOVGB3PCPJ3PJ5QGM6XMKYBOY' at two different points in the recording; one is delivered in a male voice, the other in a female voice. It also starts off with the sort of sounds you would have heard from crossbar switches as well as in-band MF tones.

In both cases the recordings ended because the remote numbers disconnected the call (i.e., hung up) automatically. No alterations have been made to the recordings beyond removing dead air from the start and end.

Nobody's quite sure what these actually are at this point, though there is some suspicion that they may be a prank/joke/hoax or possible attempt at viral promotion for something. For all we know right now, it could even just be a bored CO tech's test number filler material.

Just called 800 469 0002 three times in a row. The DTMF tones at the end of the call decoded as:

1821#2#714060684#120
1817#1#714060684#120
B89#26#714060684#120

Which happen to be the same as the numbers that are read out when you call it. No idea what it means, though.

I called the 303 number from a pay phone earlier, just to be safe. (I don't want whoever this is to have my phone number in case they trace them) Not sure if it plays different things for different people, but i heard a female voice and different sounds at the end compared to the MP3 above.

It is obvious that the 303-309-0004 number is dictating numbers for some sort of code. But why the greek alphabet? How does that come into play?

A few friends and I already found this number a few months ago while scanning the 303-309-xxxx prefix. There is usually a lot of strange stuff from about 0000 to 1000 on any given prefix. Most of the time they are phone company related numbers, but sometimes they are even stranger.

We have found more than one of these. Naturally, we called them quite a bit to see if we could find any sort of pattern. We think we might have been onto something, but had to stop.

I'd suggest you all immediately drop the issue and do not call this number from any phone number you are associated with. I don't want to get into details or scare anyone, but nothing good can come of this. They do not like these numbers dialed.

What the phone numbers do is activate F.L.O.H.R.? Federal Luminex ??? but it's a high tech phone ping and synchronizer, think nist.gov that triangulates and coordinates 'repressed data' with cellphones and satellites. That is what is contained in the first chunk of data. The rest of the data (the pink? noise) is an activation sequence. Basically the read numbers by the females active patterns of behavior between agencies and the general mk-ultra population via Manchurian candidates. A number of these agents are on shortwave (3840Mhz) being the primary frequency. If you can tune into the 'ragchew' you will notice patterns of behavior
i.e., pack mentality most of them are located near Edwards Airforce Base. One ham operator lives in the flight path of
Edwards and is the prime manchurian candidate (you will know him from his laugh) WARNING if you fall into their traps.
They will lead you down a maze of false illusions and hopes.
So beware!!!! The female/males reading the numbers is providing the locations of those ham operators (mk-ultra).
WARNING: And I'm dead serious. If you meddle with any of the
communications on 3840mHz (occasionally 3977mHz) you may be snubbed out. TREAD lightly once you communicate on the frequency it's like the old adage "you can check out but can never leave" you have been warned! Once again those number readings via the phone are connects that will put you under surveillance via big brother satellites. The mk-ultra infiltrates are some of the most vile perpetrators of mind control on the planet. They can use those numbers also in controlling you behavior. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

By the way, I'm a little confused here. One thing I've noticed - with both the 800 number and the 303 number, is there's reports that people have gotten called by them. Why exactly would they be calling people if whatever agencies might own them didn't like them being called?

BUMP!!!! I tried calling the 818 number about a dozen times last night from my cellphone and today it's blocked, lol.. can anyone still get through to it or is it blocked just individually for me?

Also, with the 800 number, in that same prefix, 800-xxx-6002, there's 800-495-6002 which does the same thing. If you google, you'll find people post a lot about these "numbers stations", like on binrev.com forums there's a post you can see if you google that 800 number... the 818 and 303 ones seem really odd though, because it's different than the typical "7-1-1" numbers as one member on the binary revolution forums puts it..

"Cause they read out numbers in the following pattern: The first number is always a straight hundred. Like 100 or 200 or 300 or 400. The second number is a 2 digit number. Like forty-four or fifty-seven. This might actually be one whole number like : One hundred forty-four" or it might be two separate numbers "one hundred" AND "forty-four". Then it reads off "7,1,1" and then 7 digits after that."

Again, no one knows for sure that they are... the 818 one is really strange though because it's entirely different, not a typical 800, 711 number. And also it either blocked me, Verizon blocked me from calling it, or it got taken off entirely..

either way, i want to get to the bottom of this
