Re: Telephone numbers stations?
Something that might be worth mentioning: a few years back, a group ran a project similar to this in which they were trying to see what the crypto hobbyist community would make of numbers stations run over the phone. They ended up presenting their findings at Defcon [link to www.defcon.org] , and their old website (which is currently inactive) has been archived [link to web.archive.org] . I'm not saying it's them doing the same thing again, necessarily, but it could easily be another person or group trying the same idea out.

I'm not sure, I heard two of these on Clyde Lewis' Ground Zero earlier, and he seemed fairly sure they were government related after speaking with a consultant.

I got a call from the 18184851010 number today. Not sure if it was real or a spoofed call.

Re: Telephone numbers stations?
Regarding the earlier post about the 818 number, does someone think it went offline or anything? Someone else browsing the thread called it and said someone picked up saying "Designation?" and before that a busy signal.

When I call it, I get something like in the recording, though.

I just called this number and it is asking me for some sort of code. What codes were people using to access this?

Re: Telephone numbers stations?
OP..years ago when I was younger and bored I would dial random 1800 numbers. One time I stumbled onto a number in which I could hear what seemed to be hundreds if not thousands of conversations occurring at once. Pretty wild.

I wonder if DIA is in that area?

Maybe a local could tell us.

Nope - Denver International Airport is way out east of Aurora. Take a look at Google Maps.

Re: Telephone numbers stations?
So I stumbled upon this in a search. Does anybody think there's any truth to it? What exactly could it be referring to?

[link to numbertron.com]

Also, I can't say much about the source, but perhaps this and the 800 number are associated? It could be generating a temporary authorization code. What happens when you three-way them in together and let the touchtones play into it?

Just a thought...

did you really have to make us sit through that whole first minute of your pussy-ass music before the video started? jesus christ man, if you don't move out of your mom's basement and stop torturing your listener with that garbage you'll never get a job at a REAL radio station.

Re: Telephone numbers stations?
I've been trying some random numbers, and it seems to just want 6 digits. I haven't found one that works. Anyone interested in trying a few numbers until we find one that works? I'd suggest posting what you have tried so far just so efforts are not duplicated.

Re: Telephone numbers stations?
I tried 558-770 a few days ago, and it gave me an error message instead of the invalid message.
For some reason, it's back to being just invalid, but my guess is it could be around there.

Tried these with 303-309-0004 and says they are incorrect:

558771
558772
558773
558774

was worth a shot.
