like a game with cheat codes and god mode, where you suddenly have every weapon and item you want!! its GREAT!

except its not..

you find the lack of challenge boring, lifeless
anything you buy either has done before or doesnt bring you happyness.. so you switch to drugs.. the high that isnt dependant on human failings or physical items

quite simply you leave this shitty world behind and make your own world via drugs

And I dare say, despite being poor.. having no family and having a shit life

There was a very talented, young man, playing the guitar, looking and singing like an angel. But he had an another side: he was very sexual and also something phlegmatic. So he grown up marihuana, traveled to India, then took heroin, then with a knife he had stolen and raped people, then come in jail, then ....never heared about him, till he was found weeks later in his room - dead.
