If you don't, think hard and I'm sure theres somewhere these things are showing up maybe subliminally in your waking mind. Quoting: MAJor 1528213 Don't be so quick to rule out the advanced nature of the subconscious. If you've never had a prophetic/intuitive dream, you simply wouldn't understand fully. Of course you can always explain it away, but the fact is we can utilize our dreams effectively to understand, anticipate, and post on GLP. |

So, if a tornado is a stress indicator, it would be correct. The third dream though was sooo different. It was beautiful and calm. I woke up feeling blessed, even though I'm still stressed from this dang house deal. .....And Grace will lead me home. |

But they usually come with a very intense feeling that lingers for days or months. Totally different then the average dream. Every tiny detail can be recalled, even years later. This did not feel precognitive to me though...just 3 bizarre dreams in a row that seem somehow related. .....And Grace will lead me home. |

I don't have it on hand, but it's quite beautiful. Never seem them in person myself. But anyway - Do you think your dream has a broad message, or prophetic? I can't tell you, but I wouldn't be surprised if next Spring things are going to be just as rough if not rougher than 2011. But we'll see, hopefully not. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 470605 United States 11/18/2011 12:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | GREAT FILAMENT: It's one of the biggest things in the entire solar system. A dark filament of magnetism measuring more than 800,000 km from end to end is sprawled diagonally across the face of the sun. If the filament becomes unstable, as solar filaments sometimes do, it could collapse and hit the stellar surface below, triggering a Hyder flare. Indeed, part of the filament already erupted on Nov. 16th, but Earth was not in the line of fire. A similar event today would likely be geoeffective because of the filament's central location on the solar disk |
Tawandaaaa User ID: 1502149 United States 11/18/2011 12:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I used to have tornado dreams all the time and someone said it was due to feeling an overwhelming responsibility to protect someone else, which is usually why they are accompanied with trying to get children or pets to a safe area (even though your children or pets may not be in real life who you are feeling responsibility to care for/protect). Ironically, however, I went through a phase where I was having a lot of tornado dreams and a tornado did in fact eventually go over my house one night. Oddly, I haven't had a tornado dream since then even when we've gone through a period of high tornadic activity in the area. Last Edited by Tawandaaaa on 11/18/2011 12:25 PM |

I want to say you're right on about your own interpretation of it being about this new place you're getting. It could have to do with the economy itself, though. It sounds like you'll come out alright, though - and we all will in some way. I notice how you appreciate the natural beauty of the world in your last part of the dream and that's a hopeful message. Underneath all the drama, there's a silver lining. I remember having vivid dreams before the 2008 market meltdown, the elections, etc. and it was symbolized as a dark storm cloud. ( |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1262998 United States 11/18/2011 12:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | First night I dream I'm in a foreign city. I look down the street and see an enormous black tornado coming towards me. It has a wave of water beneath it. I run into A building not knowing whether I should go high (Away from the water) or low (away from the tornado). I stay in the middle and it passes with no harm to me. Quoting: Azila Next night, I dream I'm in a country setting in an old house with some woman and her two small children. I look out the window and see TWO tornados side by side coming straight for us. We each grabbed a child and ran to the basement sitting with our backs to the wall, kids on our laps. The tornados hit and trees fly through the windows striking and killing both children. The woman and myself we unharmed. Then last night I dreamed I'm back in some strange city and it's night. I'm walking on the street and look up and see the most dazzling light display ever. Every color you could imagine. I turn to strangers on the street and say "OMG, it's the Northern Lights, they're BEAUTIFUL" (I've never really seen them) I really have no idea what to think about all this. Weird to me because I usually don't have dreams about Mothernature at all. Any suggestions? Hi OP, This is just my thoughts, so please take any info I give you lightly. Some of the above posters are correct as far as it being a possible stress indicator and or issues that may come about in the near future. Tornadoes may represent drastic change and the change may be so great that you will want to hide and bury the stress away in the back of your mind. So, needless to say, after all the problems pass you will feel calm which is represented by the 3rd dream. You will feel like a burden has been taking off your shoulders. So, in summary, please keep your head up as you are about to go through some trying times but when its over you will be very greatful and happy. Best of luck and happiness OP. ~~~ Take Care ~~~ |

The apocalyptic scenerio, the 2 children killed (taken by God), the "day after the rapture" in your Northern Lights. This is what comes to me instinctually...that you survive means you have some purpose. I don't prescribe to the "Rapture" as being literal but I don't doubt the authentic quality of such an act of God. Last Edited by einsteinsfly on 11/18/2011 12:38 PM |

I'm trying to think what the farm portion means and why you'd dream about that. I want to think it could represent something fundamental about you is changing. I tend to have re-occurring dreams about bodies of water when it comes to realizations and epiphany. But three nights in a row would be like winning the lottery! Maybe there will be a time in the future when the dream will make sense. |

Hiding did nothing to stop the tornado from getting me. If it is the same for you, then you may be in good hands, while the others in your dream are hurt meaning they would be cast into the fire. |

(Short sale's are a pain in the ass) My closing date was set for this coming Monday. So, finally I'm in my final week with everything ready to move. Tuesday, my lender tells me we're all go to go for Monday. That was the night I dreamed about the first tornado. On Wednesday, he confirms we're still good to go. That night was the second tornado dream. Then yesterday he calls and says there has been a delay and can't close this Monday. Well, I was devestated. I go home and dream of the beautiful lights, totally calm and feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Maybe the tornados did represent the trouble with closing, but in the end it will really all be fine? .....And Grace will lead me home. |

I was a young man, newly married and very happy. We lived in a modest cabin by a lake on a beautiful piece of land. I was aware that I was dreaming, and wondered when I would 'wake up' and return to this 'reality'. Well the dream went on for about 50 years, and I lived every second of it! I felt guilty for not being here with my 'real' wife, but at the same time I felt guilty for feeling guilty. Catch 22 from hell. Anyway, eventually I came to the conclusion that my dream was actually my reality, and this reality had just been a very vivid dream. Eventually I put the notion completely out of my mind, and accepted that my reality had changed drastically. By this time, I was an old man in the dream. Then one night in my dream, I went to bed as usual. When I awoke, I was back 'here' in this reality laying beside my wife. I looked at the clock, and only 3-4 hours had passed. I wept and hugged my wife tightly. When I told her what happened, she wept too. I still remember that dream and fine details about the house, land, etc. Just a little more food for thought for you! In South Carolina, three people were killed and five injured when a l...ikley tornado swept through a rural community near Rock Hill, about 20 miles south of Charlotte, N.C. In north Georgia, an unidentified person was killed when a tree fell on a sport utility vehicle In eastern Alabama, a suspected twister splintered trees and demolished mobile homes at a pair of housing parks near the Auburn University campus. Less than seven months ago, a massive tornado roared past the campus of archrival University of Alabama in the western part of the state. [link to www.ajc.com] |
