CANNED SOUP DOOM

People who consumed one serving of canned soup a day for five days had a more than 1,000 percent increase in urinary BPA over people who consumed fresh soup for five days, the study showed.

"We've known for a while that drinking beverages that have been stored in certain hard plastics can increase the amount of BPA in your body," study author Jenny Carwile, a doctoral student at Harvard School of Public Health, said in a written statement. "This study suggests that canned foods may be an even greater concern, especially given their wide use."

Woohoo, now I'm a cantard! I was looking for a new kind of tard to be. This kind at least involves that which is delectably delicious.

BPA's even in cash register receipts. That fucking poison is literally in more things at the supermarket than anyone can comprehend. It's proven to be gender-bending and extremely toxic. Thank our corporate interests and corrupt bureaucracies for allowing that shit into our foods.

Yes indeed. Gives new meaning to canning organic grown food on the farm and in glass! Better yet dehydrate

i am proud to say we don't buy anything in cans except for Eden Organic BPA-free cans. But yes, this year we also started our own canning of local produce and it went awesomely. Tomatoes, salsa, peaches, marinara sauce, pickled beets and garlic, lots of good stuff to last the winter.

BPA is everywhere. You can buy certain products that dont use BPA in their cans. Like Eden Organics (all beans I think) on Amazon.

I think all the styrofoam go boxes are much worse. Even Congress banned the coffee cups for themselves.

Great...there goes my survival food stash!
