I was just thinking last night that the most popular topic of conversation around the Thanksgiving dinner table is Black Friday shopping.

My step-son works at Walmart and he was there last night when they started their "sales".
Evidently, in a frantic grab for some crap, a lady accidentally scratched a guy so he punched her in the stomach and then in the face.
Another guy refused to leave until they marked an item down to a price he wanted to pay so the police escorted him out.

He also told us about people and their lawn chairs outside for hours just waiting = no lifers as some of us local retail employees called them.

"No lifers" are also the ones who go to the mall an hour before it opens--not on Black Friday--and sit and wait and get a little testy when you won't open early for them when they see you setting up. I just loved telling them "no".

It's all a ridiculous joke.

My step-son asked one lady what she was shopping for and she said $10 dollar jeans.
He asked how much was she saving and she said $3.
My stepson actually had to make himself not laugh.

Agreed. Those bitches on CNN were actually laughing this morning as they were talking about people getting trampled and pepper sprayed by their fellow shoppers at a walmart.
