I never understood the whole "debtor's prison" concept - how on earth do they expect to get their money back if the person is unemployed by being incarcerated???? Kick backs from the privatized prison system that uses inmates as slave labor???

Same thing goes for states that take away a parent's DL for back child support owed. How are they suppose to get to work to make the money?
