Mysterious millionaire is building a huge mansion south of Weldon

if he was building a bug out place he would have built an undergound bunker, not a mansion (though it looks like it will be a beautiful home).

so either he is a doom noob or it is.......

Apparently it does have a bunker built below it according to our friends, they've been there.

why spend all those resources above ground? that is if you believe in an end of the world scenerio in 2012

The picture is over a year old. I wonder if it was ever completed. The siding that hasn't been tyvek applied is showing an area of possible worn and weathering. I wonder whether the construction was suspended for a while because of that weathering indications. It looks like a lovely home.

Bunker is what they said, look at all the dirt around it. Like I said, I will go take a drive to see it. It is by Struthers Lake too.

It's completed now, that's all I could find online today.

How do you look up the elevation in Weldon, Sask? That was one of the reasons he built there.

I know, that's why people are talking about it and that the owner is from Germany.

Imcan see why, it would stick out like a sore thumb.

I wouldn't want to pay the heating bills on that place this winter, lol.

i just saw that there was a swimming pool.........no one builds a doom bunker with a swimming pool.

Talked to our friends today and sent them what I found online, that concrete was for the underground bunker, not a pool and they told me drive out there, the construction is done on the exterior and they said this place will blow my mind. Planning to go Wednesday and I'll post pics.

i'd be interested to see those pics. i dont see how someone could mistake a bunker for a pool or vice versa.

I actually know the guy personally as well as his son who is in my grade. He is not afraid of the 2012 "doom", he has family here and wanted to retire in Canada so his son would be in a free country. Sorry to kill any further exciting stories. They are also Ukrainian.. not German.. They are also the nicest men you'll ever met. :)

Alberta is one of the Canadian provinces that will fare well during the coming pole shift, and be positioned for a temperate climate in the Aftertime, as will Sasketchewan. When the bow afflicting the N American continent finally relaxes, following the New Madrid adjustment, it will not affect these Canadian provinces as much as it affects those West Coast regions crossed by the San Andreas and abutting the Juan de Fuca Plate. Mountain building and volcanic eruptions will occur closer to the coast, in British Columbia, than inland. The land is high land, above the waves in the Aftertime, and established agriculture that will support survivors. This said, are these provinces attractive to the elite, and likely to be taken as enclaves of the elite prior to the pole shift?

This has proved to be the case in the past, when the elite thought the pole shift would occur in 2003. Alberta and Sasketchewan will prove to be attractive to the elite, in that these provinces are not heavily populated nor afflicted with a rioting underclass nor a rioting migrant labor class. The people are viewed as stable, hard working, and civilized. But the elite cannot hide from the local people, and though their dollars and presence may be welcomed at first, any attempts to dominate the populace will be fiercely resisted in the Aftertime. Canada has its own factions, which will battle with each other for political control going into and after the pole shift. But as elsewhere, political control of survivor communities must be an earned privilege not a carryover from the past.

The Weldon Tabernacle church is has a back hoe and is digging a large hole under their Parkin lot. The Millionaire is known to attend that church. Could they be building a bunker there for their congregation? Is there a connection?

The village of Weldon had a backhoe on one of their streets fixing a water main break... they tore up the street from one end to nearly the other, they were losing thousands of gallons of water a day from it. I think you should use a little common sense before posting ignorance. A bomb shelter?? seriously?? Under a church?? I thought that christians believe in the rapture and that they will be gone before doomsday occurs...

Just an update. This house is no where near being finished and construction has stopped for unknown reasons. Kids have smashed many windows and inside. Really sad to see. I hope they do finish it as it is a beautiful place.

Probably stuff underground with a tunnel system connecting to somewhere else.

I just went out to this mansion a couples times this week... there is nothing sinister about it, no underground tunnel system, no bunker...just the unfinished construction of a massive house in the middle of nowhere. The pool is constructed but covered with plywood, everything is framed in the house, the underfloor heating/cooling is all installed (boiler system), some electrical is wired but thats it. The exterior looks more finished then the inside. Many windows have been broken out from vandals. ...some of schematics are strewn around the place giving an idea of what the finished place would look like.

The story I have heard (keep in mind this is just a story/rumour and have no idea if its true) was that it was being built by a Ukrainian mofia guy and he got caught and is currently in prison hence the hault on construction.... thats it... no idea if its true!

Because he doesn't want too much attention on him? Maybe he has 101 floors underground?

I went there today. It's abandoned and has no bunker. Has indoor pool and an elevator shaft. Massive house that's unfinished inside and out.
