Ever hear about TV's having hidden cameras that watch people? Probably total BS, but hell... wouldn't surprise me. Quoting: DoomBreath I agree. Not to mention the computer in your vehicle, especially Onstar...but any of them, I'm sure. Think about recorded keystrokes, though...phone numbers, names, addresses, texts, account numbers, pin numbers, passwords, websites, dates, appointments...there is a wealth of information... “When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.” "The Law of Fives states simply that: All things happen in fives, or are divisible by or are multiples of five, or are somehow directly or indirectly appropriate to 5. The Law of Fives is never wrong." "Some say the end is near. Some say we'll see armageddon soon. I certainly hope we will. I sure could use a vacation from this bull-shit three ring circus sideshow of freaks." "It's the end of the world as we know it...and I feel fine." "There is so much more and it beckons me to look though to these, infinite possibilities. As below so above and beyond I imagine, drawn outside the lines of reason. Push the envelope. Watch it bend." "Solve et Coagula." |

Quoting: DoomBreath I have heard the microphone can be remotely activated like onstar. Also in the latest issue of Popular Science, they have a new electrical outlet with wi-fi!!! It "watches" your energy consumption and transfers the data to a web site so that "you" can keep an eye on it, and adjust as needed. (December 2011 pg.70) O earth, earth, earth hear the word of the Lord. Proverbs 1:32 Rejoice not when thy enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the Lord see it, and it displease Him, and He turn away His wrath from him. Proverbs 24:17,18 I have CDO, similar to OCD, but the letters are in their proper order, as they should be. |

Popular Science is an interesting read...creepy at times, but interesting none the less. O earth, earth, earth hear the word of the Lord. It very well may be doing that but as an Android Developer myself I can tell you that many apps need to read the phone state to perform many actions. For example, an app that allows you to customize notifications when you receive a phone call, voicemail, email, SMS, or MMS needs to be able to read those particular events from the phone in order to work. Innocent enough on the surface, so long as the app doesn't send that particular data to another source. I'm not sure about the app mentioned in the article though as I have a Motorola Droid X2 on Verizon. |
