AlphA Canis Majoris User ID: 6586442 Poland 12/05/2011 06:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | WASHINGTON — Undercover American narcotics agents have laundered or smuggled millions of dollars in drug proceeds as part of Washington’s expanding role in Mexico’s fight against drug cartels, according to current and former federal law enforcement officials. Quoting: CrazyJarhead The agents, primarily with the Drug Enforcement Administration, have handled shipments of hundreds of thousands of dollars in illegal cash across borders, those officials said, to identify how criminal organizations move their money, where they keep their assets and, most important, who their leaders are. They said agents had deposited the drug proceeds in accounts designated by traffickers, or in shell accounts set up by agents. The officials said that while the D.E.A. conducted such operations in other countries, it began doing so in Mexico only in the past few years. The high-risk activities raise delicate questions about the agency’s effectiveness in bringing down drug kingpins, underscore diplomatic concerns about Mexican sovereignty, and blur the line between surveillance and facilitating crime. As it launders drug money, the agency often allows cartels to continue their operations over months or even years before making seizures or arrests. [link to www.nytimes.com] The government is the biggest drug cartel there is. It's all the same group. Just research Gary Webb... He figured it out and was silenced. The sooner people realize that the higher levels of government are just a group of common criminals, the better. |

[link to www.nytimes.com] This is nothing new for an American federal government administration to be involved with. Case in point: "ARKANSAS GOVERNOR BILL CLINTON PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH CIA DRUGS FOR GUNS CONNECTION" [link to www.ncoic.com] The above was published in 1992! This kind of activity goes back to black ops drug running in the Golden Triangle during the war in Vietnam during the Johnson administration (1963-1969), then Arkansas GOVERNOR Bill Clinton (1979-1981 and 1983-1992) receiving the proceeds of illegal drug shipments handled by CIA operatives that came into the U.S. at the infamous airport in Mena, Arkansas, and the cocaine for weapons based Iran-Contra affair that came to light in November of 1986 during the Reagan administration (1981-1989). I have to say, though, that given the nature of the times we are living in, I am a bit surprised that the New York Times carried this story. Hmmm...what is the purpose in publishing this story at this time? Last Edited by Biochemky on 12/05/2011 06:45 PM |
