A tanker truck explosion on the 60 Freeway has jammed traffic east of downtown Los Angeles, with officials urging commuters to avoid the freeway near Paramount Boulevard and warning that the freeway could be closed until Thursday.

What is odd is that they don't know the cause. The tank just blew up, no crash involved. I wonder if someone shot it.
