So are we electing the best smooth talking candidate? If we need an amazing speaker then yes, I'd vote for Newt. I will agree that Newt would be the best speaker up against Obama but we all know that nothing would change. If newt was elected then you will get your Iran war ISO. Enjoy filling up your SUV when gas hits $15 per gallon. Of course we could defeat the Iranian military. But the only way to end the war for good would be to completely invade Iran with infantry and we all know that is just not going to happen. So let's say we bomb all the important nuclear sites and cripple their military and infrastructure. Well Iran will still be there, and they won't just go away. How would it end???? What would iranian retaliation be like??

You see. Ron Paul understands the stakes in this game. He understands what $15 gasoline would do to our economy. He understands why they are passing this recent strange bill. Who cares if he is not some smooth talker, so what if he stumbles his words. Part of the problem is that you only get about 20 seconds to reply to bachmann's warmongering argument and Ron paul has a million more intelligent thoughts that would take hours to explain. It's because he knows we are doomed if we continue on the current course.

Her eye make-up or whatever was maybe way out of line in her post debate interview, I don't know, it looked like something was way screwed up.

Why do some posters go around insulting various candidates - not even with real arguments, either. It's always something like, "He doesn't look Presidential."

Use your brains. If you wanted to elect the candidate who was the best debater, Newt is that. But is he the best candidate? Look at his background. Romney? Look at his background. Paul? Look at his background.

What bothers me is that certain factions are trying to guide you to certain candidates and you don't even notice it. Cain - he was gaining steam, so let's find some dirt on him (well, he wasn't very clean to begin with). Then, Paul is gaining steam and they come up with that same old racist newsletter crap to try to wipe him out. Some of you who accuse Paultards of drinking Kool Aid (that's a term I hate), are the real ones who are being led astray by candidates and a system that is as dirty and crooked as it gets (hint - Newt and Romney) yet you are just jumping right on their bandwagons like blind little lemmings. How do you people think Newt and Romney got all their millions, anyway? They did what they needed to do to take care of their own personal financial well-being without a care of where the money came from or who got hurt in the process of acquiring it. How can you respect people like that?
