NOW I do. It's been awhile since I checked, but this morning I went out to look and the Sun is rising in the Southeast. My house faces South. Every morning for years a friend (now deceased) and I would have coffee on my covered back deck which faces North. Every morning summer or winter, we'd end up moving our chairs as the sun got higher because it would shine in our faces.

I stopped having coffee out there when she died in 2008, but today I read again where the Sun is out of place. I went out to look after all this time. It was nowhere near where it used to be and was not shining on my deck. I walked around the house and finally there it was in the Southeast. The Sun's rays are coming through my front door.

I'm in shock....

It is supposed to rise in the south east for those in the northern hemisphere right now. I could estimate where it is from perhaps one spot in the morning. The place I used to have a clear view of rise, has a house there now, but maybe this other spot. I don't drive any more so I can't get to really good place to look and estimate.

However, the axis has shifted nearly 4 degrees over that past year or so and this I proved to myself close enough anyway at this last equinox which was about that distance from where it used to be, south of where it used to be, by close enough to almost 4 degrees.

right now solar noon where I live is 8 to 10 minutes late, but the sunbeam beam cast thru my south window seems about where it was last year as we approached solstice.
