believe me, there are times the copse NEED to be recorded, but this particular incident, the camera guy was trying to get them riled.

The cops are LYING to this guy.

1) You do NOT have to have a permit to record in public

2) It is not against the law to post a picture of someone on Facebook. And for a cop to threaten you for doing something which is not illegal, is a crime in itself.

Cops often act cordial when they KNOW they are being recorded. Obviously, the cop had had issues with this guy before, which is why the guy had posted his pic online before. Now do you think the guy posted this cops picture for NO REASON?

Should be allowed to video tape / photograph anyone in public unless they expressly ask not to be excluding public servants while on duty should be able to photograph, video record etc them when on duty always to make sure no abuses of power are taking place.

Of course now today's boogeyman is "terrorism" so everything done is because of national security. Including not filming Bob the cop at the doughnut store.
