Eastern Texas: Severe weather with a chance of tornadoes this evening

A blizzard will hit the Central Plains while severe storms rock the Eastern half of Texas through this evening.

A surface low will develop in Southeastern New Mexico on Monday morning and race northeastward through Oklahoma. The closed surface feature will be strong, bringing in warmer air into parts of Southeastern and Eastern Texas through the evening, upping those severe storm probabilities.

Now the Tornado Risk Analysis Model numbers show good numbers for a tornado watch, but at the time I shut that program down till more studies can be done, today being one of them.

The storms will form along a north to south line through Dallas, Texas ... southward to west of Houston. The best tornado chances will remain in Southeastern Texas and the graphic and video embedded in this article show those areas.
