The doctors reconstructed his shoulder the best they could, but he has only partial use of the arm. Because of the pelvic fractures, he walks with a limp. His knee repair surgery was unsuccessful, and he needs a knee replacement. He has had 3 surgeries this year, and had to take a lot of unpaid time off from his new job. Well, he lost his job 3 weeks ago. He cannot get unemployment, as he did not work long enough this year to qualify. They can't move into their house until they pay the property taxes on it, as a condition of getting the deed. The plumbers cannot get a city permit to do their plumbing, so they can move in, until the taxes, which include a city lein, are paid. The plumbers need to get paid too. They also have to have the deposit for the utilities. My son-in-law is trying to sell his car, to at least pay the taxes, so they can get the deed clear in their name. They had to move from where they were staying, to my daughters mother-in-laws house, which is across the state line, and a good drive away from their house. All of their household goods are sitting at their new house. The movers were paid, and the stuff got moved 1 1/2 months ago, then everything went sour for them. They don't need $5,000 but $3,000 will get them in their house. I feel bad that we cannot help them, but we are not in the best of shapes over here, either, and it is going to get a lot worse once the unemployment stops. I am sorry that POS OP would throw such bait out there knowing so many people are hurting for funds. I hope your family finds relief somehow. I pray all of your family receives a miracle. |
