Very realistic dream -- earthquake Salt Lake City, Utah

I’m the OP on this thread and am now on a computer (originally, I posted from phone).

I am a real heavy sleeper and never remember my dreams. When I do, they are “dream like.” What do I mean by that? They are surreal with crazy twists and turns -- very much unreal. This dream was not like that at all.

Here’s the dream with all the detail that I jotted down at around 2 o’clock this morning:

I live and work about 100 miles from Salt Lake City, UT. In the dream, I was shopping for a car with my girlfriend. Salt Lake City is the closest location to shop for an automobile. Anyway, we were looking at cars and I began looking at Chevy Camaros. Lol. I don’t think this is symbolic, but that is how the dream played out. I got into a small argument with my girlfriend about the car – she was concerned that the Camaro wasn’t a proper family car. After the argument, we decided to take a break and go shopping downtown. This was most certainly downtown Salt Lake City. Also, it was daytime at this point.
We ended up going to a department store. While there, a strange woman began telling me about the small earthquakes that had been occurring in Salt Lake. She was tall, middle aged, with short blond hair. This woman departed and we resumed shopping. Suddenly, the ground started shaking violently and objects began falling off of shelves and displays that were ceiling height. We ran for the door, dodging objects as they crashed to the ground. We made it outside. It was now dark and it was raining hard. We both ran out into the street to avoid falling debris from the tall buildings. There was a lot of traffic on the streets. Cars were swerving and screeching to a halt as people ran out into the streets. This must have been a very big earthquake, because pieces of building were falling onto the sidewalks. The buildings were being rattled hard!
After this, I woke up and recorded what I saw.
I think that the timeline for the big earthquake is in the spring sometime. If the dream is a premonition, this will be preceded by smaller earthquakes. Here are some of the reasons why I believe that it may be in the spring:

1) I have 170,000 miles on my Prius and have been thinking about buying a new car in the near future.

2) It was dark outside, but the department store was still open. This indicates that it was not summer.

3) The weather was warmer, but not hot, and rainy – it was raining hard in the dream. Spring is the rainy season in Salt Lake City. Summer is typically hot and dry.

4) My girlfriend is a resident of Salt Lake City about 6 months out of the year. She will be leaving in April and will be gone for a few months. Unless this date changes, it appears that April is the timeline limit.

I’m putting this dream “out there” to find out if anybody else has had a similar dream or premonition.

Your dream is true. If the Leaders of the church do not repent of their Idolatry and unrighteous dominion, the Lord is sending his messenger with power to start the earthquake. Just so you know, that Idol that sits in the visitor's center is the express image and likeness of Lucifer himself. Okay, so I'm not a Mormon. I don't buy into their story -- along with the majority of SLC residents. However, I'm kind of thinking that you pushed the pendulem waaaay to the other side. Judge not, lest you be... well, you know.

I OP... it's EAT here. A few days ago I had a dream about a BIG earthquake in UTAH. However, in my dream I remember saying to myself "Utah?" I guess I was expecting a big earthquake in California.

Can you tell us more about the dream?

In my dream of the UTah earthquake there was lots of carnage. It was bad. Real bad.

All I can remember is that I was having a dream about a huge earthquake and there was lots of carnage. I remember being told in the dream that the earthquake was in UTE/UTAH.

i have had this dream
watching an earthquake roll thru salt lake from a second story parking structure
it rolled like waves out towards the west desert getting bigger the further west it went
buildings were falling apart downtown really violent shaking
i would say spring or early fall as the weather was exactly as you described in your dream

If it happens, I think will be in days from 20 April to 15 May ..

I expect big earthquake and very strong activity worldwide in that days especially for USA, probably in ocean (off Cost Oregon), Alaska also have possibility ..

This days are most dangerous days in 2012, of course is my personally belief ..

But you can put your money for that days, is all ready verified for my self ..

I do that last year for March and year before etc, so i only can say good luck to everyone and hope will hit not populated area ..

Yes. Buildings in SLC falling apart. That is what I saw also.

I live out in the west desert. It's interesting that you saw waves propagating out into the Great Basin. That makes sense though. The fact that there is no bedrock and hundreds of feet of sediment means that the whole basin will shake like a bowl of Jello.

Cool dream, man.

Well if the EQ did happen in Utah that would explain the US Navy future map then, right?

The only rainy day forecast for the next little while is on Sunday April 1st.

Will this be the day of the dreaded UTAH earthquake?

Here is dangerous places and earthquake pressure flow below USA, have three main dangerous "line"

One "line" you can see on images, other is San Andreas fault line, Third "line" is areas off West Coast of North America to Alaska ..

This main line collide or merge in areas of N Ca, WA, off Cost Oregon, British CO somewhere probably in ocean

Ocean crust is much shallower or thinner from continental crust so It's easier to break or crack also because tidal forces ..

In other picture you can see most dangerous area for biggest earthquake, that's how I see things ..

Mother in Law went to the bountiful Temple dedication and told me the dedicatory prayer included a prediction of an earthquake but that Bountiful Temple would do fine.


There is also a belief that "the great scourge" will start with the members of the church and go out. The Lord wants a humble people, not everyone will die but it sounds bad.
