Take any community, school, team, whoever. Count them. For arguments sake take half as infected. Half of the people in your population group catch it. Of those HALF OF THE TOTAL, 60% WILL DIE.
Total Population of x .50 = ?
? x .60 [Death Rate]= ???
So 60% of the people who get it die.
100 People
100 x .50 = 50 people.
50 x .60 = 30 Dead of the original 100.
