God allows you to think and make up your own mind.
But He also shows you the right way, the beautiful good things, while the devil tries to persuade you always from this and tempts you with a life full of sin.

Is not the devil's intention to destroy you forever because he hates the thought of you?

Arm yourself with the knowlege of God and what is written in His Word, in the Bible.

Cling to the Words in it like your dear life depended on it.
And Seek and Knock on the door that is Jesus that He may show Himself to you and fill your life with good wonders, beyond your wildest imagination!
