the EU needs at least another 12 month before they can live without irans oil...the greeks are also heavily dependant and will not say no to iran oil...so don't worry...in 12 months everything looks different again anyway.

Interesting. When does the oil embargo (if it's actually an embargo as such, which seems debatable) come into effect?

I think the US and Britain, (oh and france) all want to go to war against Iran no matter what the cause.

I also think that Iran isnt to be messed with.

I also think (I think a lot) that Israel scares the shit out of Iran and so they probably wont do much at all, on one hand, or on the other, they think they are technologicly ready for Israel.

I really do feel (Im feeling now) that the Us and Britain are (once again) biting off more than they can chew.

Britain is sending HMS Daring, I think its called, cost around a billion dollars to build and is highly advanced, apparently. Staffed with 190 sailors.

One missile is all it takes to blow this out of the water

Its not ww2 anymore. And Iran hasnt been idly sitting back twiddling their thumbs. If Iran says they will shut down the straights, ive got a gut feeling (its in the gut now) that they mean it.

All it would really take would be the "removal" of a couple of military satellites and the US would suddenly find themselves back in time. Its quite a basic appraoch really. Im pretty sure the ruskies, chinkos and the persian rugs have all thought the same thing.

I wonder if the US has a contingency plan ready for a total communications blackout?

This is the future after all, and thats how wars in the future are fought, right?

The satellites thing is a good point, but I'm not sure Iran have the missiles to do it. China do, but I don't think they've sold them to anyone.

'IRGC trains for order to close Hormuz'

A senior Iranian lawmaker says the aim of the upcoming naval drills by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) is to prepare for the potential closure of the strategic Hormuz Strait.

Deputy Head of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Esmail Kowsari said on Saturday the military maneuver has been designed to prepare the armed forces for receiving the order to shut down the strait within the shortest time possible.

Re: IRGC commander says Iran could close Hormuz this month. US Joint Chiefs Admits they Could for a "Period of Time"
South Korea and Japan -– two energy-challenged Asian nations dependent on Iranian crude -– are pondering ways to overcome the steep price of adhering to a U.S. embargo against the Middle Eastern oil giant.

Reeling from the financial aftermath of March’s earthquake and tsunami, Tokyo officials are exploring alternative petroleum sources to fuel a flagging economy especially dependent on imported oil and natural gas.

"We are considering our response and are closely discussing the matter with the U.S.," a Japanese Foreign Ministry official, Kazuhiro Kawase, said Friday.

Earlier in the week, South Korean officials said they would ask Washington for an exemption from the embargo to lessen the “negative impacts" of the Iranian sanctions. South Korea imports 97% of its oil and, like Japan, depends on Iran for up to 10% of its supplies.

But the South Korean press reported Sunday that Seoul officials are considering a move to reduce imports of Iranian oil to 2010 levels, a drop of more than 1%.

The following post is not mine. It was found on Dinar Recaps.

Would like to remain anonymous please.

I've followed your blog for several months for entertainment purposes only.

I want shed some light on this and maybe others can better understand the business side of the world.

Iraq dinar will be worth more money to Iraq, USA, EU, China, Russia, Japan, Saudi and etc once the added sanctions go live on Iran.

Once Iran oil is off limits Iraq will be the go to country which means immediately will be providing millions more barrels of oil for the world with little competition meaning immediate clients and less competitors, bringing prices down securing the USA investment in Iraq oil.

Not to mention the added benefit of stopping Iran from obtaining WMD.

I could go further in depth but thought I could help ease some minds and let you know the RV will happened once those new added sanctions go live.

USA has been working on contracts to replace Iran oil for Iraq oil in EU and guarantee China and Russia they will get their oil and for a better price with longer contracts backed my Iraq oil.

USA nor Iraq cares how much dinar the public has because the wealth that will come from what they are working on will be for hundreds of years where the public's wealth will be taxed and spent in the economy only helping the USA effort.

Nobody is stopping this RV because of the crazy nuts in Iraq this RV has nothing to do with Iraq and never has. What people are reading they are coming to conclusions themselves because people need to make sense of things they can't comprehend so we read and hear all these predictions and "intel" which none have a clue what is at stake here.

I will tell you here and now, once those newly added sanctions go live so will the RV and it won't be much higher than Kuwait because that's bad business with Kuwait when you need Kuwait to do business. Not to mention keeping the peace so oil pipelines and shipping aren't disturbed.

Yeah, I just double checked.

Can't find a map anywhere that has "Persia" on it.

So should Central Americans refer to themselves as Mayan? I mean they are Mayans living in El Salvador, Costa Rica etc aren't they?

If you are too ashamed of what your area of the world has become that's fine. But stop with referring tom yourself as a member of a society that no longer exists.
