Re: Near Death Experience
How cool...a personal question---when you show the picture of the hands holding the world---could you explain that? I think I know the symbolism in it but just curious why you chose that picture...
 Quoting: <<LOOK`n thru YOU>>

believe it or not this vid all started with the pic of the yellow VW bug wrapped around the tree.

I found it on the net about 4yrs ago and I kept running into it while searching for mustang parts.

I never did get a pic of the VW we were in that night, I was in ICU for 7 days and another 7 in recovery.

by the time I got out what was left of the bug was scraped.

to answer your question that pic of the hands holding the earth was the best pic I could find that showed what I felt.......GOD is all around us and will catch you if you fall, like he did for me.

Re: Near Death Experience
The one part of the video that struck a chord with me were the people standing in the shadows. I've seen that twice or something pretty near to it. First when my son died about 3 weeks after his death, I was allowed to see and talk to him during my sleep. I could see 3 of those entities, he said they were his friends and they were helping him. They looked at me with such love. I didn't want to leave, wanted to stay with him, but he said "Ma, you have to go." It was NOT a dream that was in 1994 and still as clear as if it was happening right now. I woke up and it was 7 am.

There was contact with my husband too, but there were 2 times. My husband and I had both made a pact to let the other know the spirit lives on. In 2001 he crossed over. Three weeks after he died, a voice came during my sleep and asked if I'd like to contact "Harry". I couldn't speak but could feel the smile on my face and told her yes. I felt weighed down and paralyzed. Speaking was like telepathy. A wall went up, couldn't see it, only feel it, then the right side of my head felt like it was under water, only the right side. Then I hear him speak in my left ear. I woke up, it was very real and I recalled it all. I wanted more than that, but was grateful for what I got. When I woke up and looked at the clock it was again 7am.

But there was a second contact with my husband. This after I asked "whoever can hear me please let me have one more visit and I promise I will never ask again." Maybe a different perspective, is that people unfortunately have to experience these hardships to learn fundamental lessons and hopefully grow from those experiences (either in this existence or the next)... If you never experienced grieving, could you ever really truly understand what it meant to grieve?

Thank you Glen and you are also a lucky one for having crossed over and back. You still have something to do, something more to learn and a life to live and appreciate. I do wonder tho, why I'm still here.

All of my friends and siblings have crossed over, I've been with most of them before their death, cared for them and related experiences with them. They did believe me and it comforted them. If that was my purpose, they are all gone now, so I'm still trying to figure out why I haven't joined them.

George Burns once said that the downside of growing old and outliving your friends is there is no one left to come to your funeral. That wasn't true for him tho, he was loved by many.

help me out, what part of the NDE would you like more information on?
 Quoting: Glen 8497641

WE have watched numerous NDE videos and talked to people, I especially in my nursing days when a patient died and returned, but what did you see specifically? A form in the shadows or a visual of a guardian, a voice speaking to you? Or just a memory slideshow of your present life?

Usually those who return, USUALLY, have a different perspective of their present life, their goals. A turn in the road. My understanding of life is that the soul has a blueprint. In that blueprint there are windows or opportunities for change. We may not have a particular set path but options along the way. Then there are different scenarios that follow that particular chosen path.

If you lived on the fast track, your soul offered you one path, but you chose an alternative, that was extreme so that you could return to center. Thus, no death. I believe there are possibilities and probabilities in the Universe makeup.

If we choose suicide, we end the probability or the option for choosing a better way. Thus, a return to get it right.

Do you believe you were at the gate and you had to choose to return on your own volition or were you advised by a spiritual being?

Regarding your previous post, the music & photography was created to evoke emotions from you when you view it... Did you feel any particular set of emotions when watching that video? I did... It's very grounding...

I also watched that same show on Bio, the first 3 seasons, I enjoyed it... However I'm having a hard time bringing myself to watch new episodes... Basically I don't particularly care for the lead up to the deaths but love hearing what the people have to say after they died... Maybe I'll record new episodes and just fast forward to the parts I enjoy.

What an incredible journey that must have been for you!! I hate to ask...but was anyone else hurt in the accident? Did you hit anyone else? I hope not. I'm sure this was a powerful lesson learned about drinking and driving. You're very blessed to have been given another chance to make things right with your life again.

Your video was very well done. It evoked a response in me that I'm sure was only a very minute understanding of what you experienced. That in itself is pretty good considering most people who have an NDE have trouble putting their experience into words. Great job!! hf
