How can you defile the faith any worse than the pope gathering all religions and atheists at Assisi? My mother's father died when she was born in 1930. They never were offered any help from the Catholic Church. I can tell you stories about my experience as a fatherless child and asking the local Catholic church for help. Nothing. In other words, from our family's experience, this church has always been spiritually bankrupt.
