Re: Suffering
To be, or not to be--that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them. To die, to sleep--
No more--and by a sleep to say we end
The heartache, and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to. 'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep--
To sleep--perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub,
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
Th' oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office, and the spurns
That patient merit of th' unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovered country, from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprise of great pitch and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry
And lose the name of action. -- Soft you now,
The fair Ophelia! -- Nymph, in thy orisons
Be all my sins remembered.

Re: Suffering
Why do you think we suffer? What is meaning of suffering?
 Quoting: Sabali

So we can enjoy the good times.

If there were no ups or downs, it would be a living hell.
Do not take memories of what happened yesterday, into what might happen today.

When love is your greatest weakness, you will be the strongest person in the world.

Re: Suffering
The meaning of suffering is to react
to something that is causing you harm.
If your fingers are burning, take them away
from the flame. If your thoughts are causing
you pain, change them and/or the causals.
And to learn to not make the same mistakes
(ie. putting your fingers in flame) again.
Extrapolate from there.

Re: Suffering
How the noble truth of Suffering appears to you?
 Quoting: Sabali

If there is a world filled with just one person suffering that world has Seperation and FEAR as it's underlying core belief which resonates collectively and manipulates all the sentient beings on the World it's infecting. It's a virulent teaching which has been reported. It's known on Salvington home of the Melchizedek Order. That is why I have been sent to correct your planet's wayward stroll just in time for dinner so to speak. Get ready for LOVE like YOU'VE NEVER FELT BEFORE!!!! HARSA HARSA HARSA "GREAT JOY" 2012 vote for LOVE!! Vote for "The One" who can show you the way home : ) Ariel Phoenix~ Prince of Peace

Re: Suffering
Only an indication that something is not successful in your endless efforts to resolve optimally.

Punishment only if there is no way, according to the error indication to undertake actions, which may render the error.

Next Step hell. Repeal of an end without the prospect of false resolutions usually the bad and therefore painful condition.

Re: Suffering

 Quoting: Sabali

I believe you can only be considered Noble while still Suffering thru long-suffering and empathy for that which Mankind and Mother Earth are lacking. To suffer with mankind as a whole so you can be truly thankful in Mind, Body and Spirit for what little you do have. I'd rather be homeless in America than Iraq or someplace worst, I can't help but feel like a lot of people hate me for things I did in my last life.
 Quoting: HilosPP

its probably something you are doing in this life that makes people not like you. its easier to come up with excuses than to admit the truth and if you're the kind of guy that makes up excuses all the time, that right there might be the reason people don't like you
 Quoting: IvantZtrooth

90 % of suffering in this world is provoked by people with name and surnames. Known to many.

without darkness, light goes unrecognized
without thirst, water is unappreciated
without loneliness, togetherness wouldn't be such a relief
without suffering, we'd not know joy

Re: Suffering
We are not suffering, we are alligning! By understanding things, you do not need to suffer! Look at the pyramid, the problem looks very complex and have a very complex understanding/explaination down at the bottom. Moving up the pyramid/ladder and the explaination/understanding changes, get's more compact, finally at the top, you just understand it and there is no need for an explaination anymore!
