Posted here: The price of gas in Venezuela is 4 cents a gallon or 4 litres, this is not a cruel joke. 4 cents for 1 gallon of GAS!!!!! 40 cents fills our tank, and they fill it for you, and clean your windshield. 3 bedroom home with pool, electric bill 10 bucks a month. My Response and reply: Inflation is an invisible tax that is used to spend more than gov't takes in. Inflation of fiat money is easy when there are no hard assets backing the money. Inflation robs people of Purchasing Power (same as a tax). Inflation transfers productivity and assets of workers to those who sit in chairs and create the fiat money (or loan it out). The Fed levies the Invisible Tax - Inflation. Inflation is a regressive tax, since it adversely affect the middle-class and poor the most. I have more informations than CEO of $3 Trillion company. Gasoline price was raised 100% to get you to buy an electric from government motors. You got the communism you voted for. There is definately manipulation going on in gasoline price and crude oil price. Today Gasoline should be $1.50 or $2 per gallon in USA because international crude oil price have fallen 50%. Or does the government need to be limited, cos they actually make it more difficult for us? I know conservatives think the last thing is true. But if not government and restrictions/law, what else is there to stop monopolistic cartels from exploiting us?
