Antarctica and its Volcanism and Vostok

Ross Island is entirely volcanic in origin and is formed by four principal volcanoes-Mounts Erebus, Terror, Bird, and Terra Nova-as well as numerous smaller volcanoes and lava flows.
Of the volcanoes, only Erebus remains active. At 3794 meters, Mount Erebus is the highest point on Ross Island and the largest, most active volcano on the Antarctic continent.
It is almost always observed with a cloud of vapor rising from its summit crater.
Much eruptive and seismic activity has been observed, including ejections of volcanic bombs as much as 8 meters across.
At the summit, a l00-meter-deep outer crater about 650 meters across contains a similarly deep inner crater about 250 meters across, in which lies a lake of red, molten lava.

yeah, i'm sure the strange weather has nothing at all to do with the millions and millions of trucks, cars, boats and planes constantly spewing heat trapping gasses into the air. Not to mention the emissions from factories... yeah, it's all about a dormant volcano...

I posted something a lil while back that said the artic ice was melting so much that the conveyer belt (oceans') coudl start backflowing ..

How much longer till the real tipping point ? What do you think SS ? A few months, a year tops ?

And what do you think it will be ? Economical, WW3, earthquake, volcano, ET ?

The most rational answer is economic.

WW3, I have heard mixed theories on that one. The main concern with WW3 is the death toll that may take place.

EQ's are, overall, too isolated. We can have something like over in Japan, and we can say the tipping point has already been reached over there.

A big volcano can really fuck things up.

ET - some have already reached that tipping point.

See what I'm getting at?

Everything is a process of events. Will the overall event happen in one fell swoop? I don't think so. Maybe, but every event will be staggered. The only one that really isn't is the sun knocking out the grid. But, I think that all the events will be varied per area and person, but will all take place within the span of one generation.

The least traumatic way to make the leap, is to do it as a process. I imagine that is what is going to be most desired.

You know, just recently I heard a story that relates to this.

It's said that if you throw a frog in a pot filled with boiling water, the frog will jump out immediately, without sustaining any injuries !

But if you place a frog in a pot filled with cold water and place it on a stove and gently raise the temperature of the water, the frog will stay there and die !

All of these changes seem to come gradually and I'm afraid that many of us will not be sensitive enough to notice that "the boiling point" is approaching.

Perhaps if these events were to happen at a faster pace, more of us will awaken and realize the danger...

Maybe...but, there is also a type of trauma the spirit can go through. If we are eternal, and have life upon life to get it right, why does there need to be a 'faster' pace if it may be damaging to the spirit? From what I have gathered, we damaged the spirit through trauma before...and it takes many, many, many reincarnations just to get back to the place where the spirit was at prior to being traumatized.

Perhaps, it will all take place when divinely ready.

Some interesting stuff here about record heat in the northern hemisphere, I'm not sure if the same applies to the southern.

While volcanism plays a part in local temperature trends, it's random and usually short-lived. The fact that Erebus has been continually erupting for hundreds, if not thousands, of years indicates that it is NOT the source of recent melting.

Anthropogenic warming seems to be ongoing and accelerating. Reject the idea at your peril. Adding volcanic heat & gasses will only make things worse, but volcanoes are still a minor contributor.

Yep...this may well be a piece of the missing puzzle...

one question is would ww3 make temps here colder (nuke winter) or hotter (superheated atmosphere, billions of dead and rotting bodies of every species, and the earth split open in places).

and imaging how long it would take to piece together the grid, and infrastructure with no mfg left. survivors have to live more like robinson crusoe, but it'll probably be more like gilligans island with a hint of dirty harry

the economic doom is really the easiest to survive, as most stuff won't be destroyed (as much, at least)
