First, God didn't make homosexuals. God made everything, good, very good. When sin entered our world, EVERYTHING became perverted and affected by sin. God doesn't hate homosexuals. God ALWAYS lovers the sinner, it's the SIN, the ACT that he hates, and not just the sin of homosexuality, but all sin, whether it's a sexual sin or otherwise. God doesn't hate murderers, or thieves, or liars, or adulterers... He HATES the ACT of murder, of stealing, of lying, of cheating, etc. Jesus came and died to save sinners, He LOVES all of us, and we have ALL sinned and come short of the glory of God!

God came to set the captives FREE from sin. There are many people who've been delivered from the sin of homosexuality just like many other sins. The problem isn't God or how He created us, the problem is US, wanting to cling to our sins and not relinquish them or overcome them through the blood of the lamb. God is stronger than ANY sin! God can give us power to overcome ANY sin! Sin is ALWAYS a choice, NOT because God made us that way. We can say yes to sin or no to sin, we don't HAVE to sin. Even if we are born with certain propensities to sin or our gene pool has certain propensities, WE don't have to commit those sins ourselves. Many people in my family were alcoholics, but I CHOSE not to go down that path, through the grace of God.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness. Many people love the first part of that verse that says God will forgive our sins, but they don't believe the part that He CAN and WILL cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. As we submit to Him, He gives us power to overcome.
