Lets see what we can dig up from the book, and how it relates to anything 2012, the planets, or the NWO. I mean why put THIS book in the very start scene? Right?

Note the underlined words.
Now Boethius, it so happens wrote the book while awaiting execution. His execution itself was grisly....he was ground to death in a mortar.
The thoughts he lays down in the book are therefore the philosophical look of a person who doesn't have much time left on the planet.

There is also irony in the book being used here in the movie, as the NWO is plainly composed of satanic rituallistic greedy men and women, but the book itself is a philosphic view of many things , greed one of them:

So there is the key. We have , right at the beginning, an allusion to either a person, or an institution about to be executed.

The next scene is the cruise liner toy sinking.
And as we already have analysed in this thread, the cruise liner could represent the EU, and the EURO.

But don't be surprised if a prominent personality is assassinated either.

So far all we get from the book is a connection to an assassination of either a person or an institution.

Now this book in the taxi is shown RIGHT AFTER the planetary alignment prologue . How does the book connect to either the Mayan calendar, or even remotely to the planets?

There really is no direct connection, but I did find something rather strange. Its not very significant, but its there like a perceived movement in the periphery of one's vision.

So , in Amazon you click on the 'see inside book' link, and you read through the preview pages.

You come to a poem on page 3.
This poem is rather sad, as it lays out the grief, terror, and pain of a man waking daily in prison knowing that there is no way out but death.

Your mind doesn't blip anywhere. So skip this.

You come to page# 5. Another poem.
The poem is # 2. "Two" in Romans is 11. Aha!!! Blip blip blip. We have a 11. Lets see if there's anything in the poem.

Remember, these things, symbols in movies, subliminals in tv ads, everything is done by the Illuminati-Subliminal-Design-Department. The same guys who put the crumbling WTC towers in the Dollar notes.

So no matter how cynical you are about symbols in movies, you just can't ignore the little signs. How little is that owl in the One Dollar bill? You can't even see it!! But its there, teasing , poking. Knowing that people are too stupid or sleeping to pay attention to the trivial clues.

The book scene is sandwiched between the planetary allignement with a close up of the solar activity, followed by the image of a large CME. The sentence 'The Spirit that rotates the world, and the 'translocation' of the Sun from East to watery West, ....is that an allusion to a pole shift??
