Works like a charm for carpenter bees, the ones that eat your deck to hell.
Quoting: Miss Portinari awww poor things ;):) I like watching them..they work so hard..(yes, I lead a dull life :) I use starting fluid and a propane torch to singe their wings off as the fly by, then I step on them...they crunch like they have bones too. I got stung by one as a kid, in the eye, so I haven't been a fan of them since then. I didnt think carpenter bees had stingers..hmm..silly me I play with them. Sure would like to see a pic of the eye-sting..wowzers, must have hurt pretty fair. I was like 9 and it stung the white of my eye and I'm not allergic so i'm not blind or dead because of it, I was pretty happy about that part of it :) If you aren't afraid and don't piss them off they won't sting you...but they damage wood, so I nuke'em...
