My Ear Drum Is Having Spasms in Intervals. Strange Vibration Feeling.

Mine has been doing that on and off since last Thursday. If you want to know what really works when no one is around (I am being total serious here)...put tin foil around your head. That stopped mine but then the family got home and rather than suffer ridicule, I have lived with it while they are home. As soon as they all leave for the day ~ right back on. I know it sounds ridiculous but when the ringing begins to drive you crazy, you'll try anything. And this experiment is proof that the ringing is caused from an outside source, imo.

(GLP really needs a tin foil hat smilie! hehe)

yeah, that can happen. it's a dysfunction of the eustachian tube. annoying, but goes away on its own after awhile.

The exact same thing happened to me last night around 11 pm est. As I was reading about solar flares. Also had a blinding headache two days before. Weird.

Yes, I have had this happen on several occasions. I'm guessing you either have a lot of stress or anxiety in your life. Try getting a few good neck massages.

I have these happen mildly before but not for this long. It's still going. At least it's not my eyelid doing it, that's really irritating.

That's sounds right. I have a new job interview tomorrow. If I get it I have to sell my house and move. I'm employed but it's a better paying job and back home where I grew up. I been stressing lately about if the house doesn't sell quickly and I'm paying two payments. Stressful!

my right ear went deaf, then the eardrum felt like it would burst. both ears are xtremely sensitive to noise today, they ache.

Who do you suppose coined the phrase "tin foil hat freaks"? They know this shit works and they don't want you to try it because of the "stigma" they have placed on it. Just wait...few more paralyzing headaches and ringing so loud you can't hear yourself think...you'll try it and you will see why "they" don't want you to! Trust me! This may well be our best defense against their overreaching technology.

Yes, sounds about right. DO take it easy and try to remain calm and relaxed. I know such changes can be upsetting, but allowing it to get to you in such an intense way will affect your health. Good luck. :)

lol. Is there foil made out of tin? I thought all of it was aluminum. I try to stay away from aluminum as much as possible. It's one of the poisons used on a mass level. Soda/Beer cans, Anti-perspirant, Cooking pans, etc. Plastic leaches toxins too. What happen to putting food and drinks in glass like when I was young?

Wish I could. Can tell if it's high when I lay down to sleep and hear it thumping in my ear. Hadn't had a problem with it lately though. It seems I go through bouts when it will be high and then for weeks it will be in the perfect zone. Maybe too much salt at times or something.

I bet there's got to be original tin foil out there somewhere. Somewhere forgotten in grandma's attic next to the Epsom salt and Calamine lotion. Do they still make Mercurochrome? I remember it was a staple in the medicine cabinet.

I get that sometimes too, have had it a while and I have learned how to make it stop by concentrating on it first it slows then stops but I dont know what starts it or how to prevent it.

Yes, very fluttering. It seems like it finally stopped. Been good for a few minutes now. My wife was yelling in my ear a while ago. Don't know if that help. Also was watching the video posted of a pit bull attacking a man. That might have done it too. Terrifying video.

I have ringing and buzzing in my ears and it feels like water in them sometimes and they itch now and then.
I'm going to try and make like ear pplugs with tin foil and see if that helps.

funny thing happened to me the other day, my wife has a herpes sore on her buttocks and just for kicks looked up what caused it. well, after looking at herpes sore buttocks pictures on google images, that's when my ear did it's thing. kind a like shivers down your spine. note to self, don't look at herpes sore buttocks pictures on google images and take your wifes words that in my 15 years of marriage, if it was genital herpes, I myself would have a herpes sore on my buttock which I don't. a word of wisdom!
